TAMPA -- He's campaigning hard for support from Republican social conservatives, but presidential candidate Mitt Romney said Saturday he disagreed with the government's intervention in the Terri Schiavo case.
"I think it's probably best to leave these kinds of matters in the hands of the courts," Romney said in a television interview airing today.

There was NO living will. That was the point.

Actually, his current view is the popular view. And unfortunately, I doubt that will change in our lifetimes. This is one of the many issues in which the good old common sense of the average American comes through.

Yup, America's first She-Male President (according to that ol'gal who used to run Planned Parenthood.)

Actually, EV, there is a whole lot of issues Mitt gets right. And many of his words and speeches are some of the best I've heard from a politician in a long time. His CPAC speech was outstanding. And it gives people a more complete picture of Mitt, which your posts don't do.
You only reveal the most NEGATIVE parts.
If someone did that to you, people would stop liking you too.

Mitt is right. Most people on FR went in a fit of insanity with the whole Schiavo case, even though the woman was brain dead with no hope of recovery (except for a "miracle" - yeah right). Romney is standing up to the ridiculous demagogic activism we saw in Congress due to this case. Hope he wins.

Hmm ~ typically such things are stated in subjunctive mood. The leftwingnuts, of course, don't believe subjunctive mood exists and they mean it when they wish for someone's kid to be slaughtered. After all, leftwingnuts LIKE for kids to be slaughtered.
What you have there is a grammatical error, not the actual wish for, let's call the kid "baby Boo Boo" for convenience, to be killed.
Still, if you want to assert family as superior to governmental authority, there's a lot in that you may not care to face. It's something you'd probably regret ever having wished for.

The ant farm thread on Saturday's forum fits this thread very well.
Lots of self-righteousness on full display.

I'm not talking about just this post.
If you haven't seen some of EV's other negative posts on Mitt, and other candidates, you surely are not on planet earth.
There are a few positive pieces on Mitt. I'll ping you too them.

Your post didn't have much to do with what I posted (that the govt did indeed have a role to play in the protection of a citizen).

Brain dead. Well, we see that these threads. Dead souls and idiots.
Terri was alive and her brain too. Of course her brain did eventually die, once Greer and that wonderful loving man Micheal Schiavo finished the course of therapy with her. I mean, by that point every cell in her poor tortured body was so lovingly and tenderly demised.

People stopped liking him a loooong time ago.
EV is incapable of saying a nice word about ANYONE.
He cannot talk about why he likes Duncan Hunter. He can only accentuate the negative about every other "liberal, traitorous, gun-grabbing, judicial activist RINO" in the race.
EV has never read "How to Win Friends and Influence People."

even though the woman was brain dead with no hope of recovery I swear, you gotta be brain dead yourself to make such a foolish and false assertion. She wasn't "braindead." She was a healthy, though impaired, individual. Give her her daily sustenance, like all of us, and she'd still be among those who loved her.
