These people are so deranged they cannot even be logically consistent in their talking points week to week!Well said. Whatever the President decides to do is the wrong thing. Doesn't matter what it is.

The pols greatest folly is hubris. I have a strong sense, sadly, that events yet to unfold overseas will greatly effect the 2008 politics is ways we cannot begin to imagine..

I need to clarify: this was a discussion between Thomspon and Wallace. I also should caveat with I'm a donor to the Libby defense fund and I too believe this was a travesty of justice.

Thompson would make a very, very formidable candidate, especially against Hillary or Obama.

Clueless? Absolutely!
Anti-American, just like the Mullahs? For sure!
Suffering complete BDS? Is the Pope Catholic?

He had a good week--it's here:

Go to "inside cover" scroll to Imus grill's Schumer.
Every once in a while the I "man" gets it!
Although if you try and make sense of him or his show it's usually counter productive.

Courtney may be a little short on brains.... but who cares?
Gretchen suffers the same ailment.
Soon after she started on F&F, they were doing a story about jobs. Gretchen made the comment (twice) that there were 400,000 illegals in the country.
Both Brian and Steve tried to correct her and inform her that her number was way low. She didn't budge. She said that was the number she had heard.
[For any news-face to be that ill-informed is a reflection on the entire network.]
I've noticed that Gretchen has been absent for a while from F&F. I wonder whether the negative emails about her are having an effect and whether she might be out looking for a new gig with another network. I frequently turn F&F off after I get the first round of headlines. I just can't take Gretchen.

When she gushed over the Breck Girl, that was the last straw for me. I could not stand her as a news reader - something about her eyes - they don't go together - makes me very uncomfortable, plus she gushed over edwards.

He cut through all the crap re: Libby. That's one of the qualities I've always liked about Thompson- he has a way of explaining issues with "homespun" clarity.

Too bad Zal has to be so political. If Timmah had asked me that question, I would have asked Timmah why he filed a false affidavit with a federal court? Who is Timmah to ask any question at all, he is a proven liar, and NBC should fire him. (Rant off).
I don't watch Fat Dim because I can't stand the clymer.

Bob Beckel made a comment the other day a Thompson candidacy would be a nightmare for the Left. I figured that was just hyperbole; but I think I understand why they'd be concerned.

"I just wish gretchen was gone! I actually watched it this week since she was on vacation. I miss getting to see Brian and Steve, but I reallllllllllly can't stand that female."
You and me both! I enjoyed it when Page Hopkins filled in the first two days that Gretchen was gone. Page is funny and lots of fun too! Gretchen can't get out of there soon enough for me!

Ted Koppel just said that a pullout from Iraq could lead to a regional war and that we cannot afford to have that happen.
Timmy quickly moves to another topic...LOL...on to how Bush said he wouldn't talk to those people (pounding his desk for emphasis) and Bechloss agrees he is now doing what the Surrender Group advised.
