btw....'coward'? For not letting the uber-lib metrosexual call the tune? I think not.
Well he certainly is an excitable chap, isn't he?
If the FACTS are presented in a straight forward manner the RIGHT will understand the need to put these people on a streamline path to citizenship.
It would be a shame to give these people the impression that we don't want them as fellow Americans. The political fall-out to us will be severe if we don't get proactive in helping these people.
This thread's main article suggests sites like FreeRepublic are hurting that effort.
Of course too many FReepers are too shallow to grasp that concept.
Aren't they, wtc911?
The barking moonbats, as you like to call them, now have tangible proof that 9/11 was an inside job.
If you don't accept this as proof, than your just a Rovian Bushbot. (Click on picture for the whole story.)
IMO, you've hijacked this thread. THAT'S NOT the issue on this thread.
The issue is that FreeRepublic is an antfarm where a certain segment of Freepers such as yourself are shown in an unfavorable light.
Funny how FreeRepublic keeps getting "lucky" despite Ivor's insightful and enlightened analysis.
I wonder what critera Ivor would use to identify an articulate commentator who just happened to be full of $h!t?
"Well he certainly is an excitable chap, isn't he?"
Not particularly.
"If the FACTS are presented in a straight forward manner the RIGHT will understand the need to put these people on a streamline path to citizenship."
If the facts were presented fully and accurately, everyone to the right of Babsie Stweisand would be out on the streets, gun in hand, helping with the roundup.
"It would be a shame to give these people the impression that we don't want them as fellow Americans."
Why the Hell should we want them? It's up to us to decide whom we will allow to immigrate, and why would we pick people with so little respect for our laws?
"The political fall-out to us will be severe if we don't get proactive in helping these people."
1. Political fall-out? That's your big concern?
2. Help them? Who's going to help me? Who's going to help our homeless vets? Who is going to properly fund military and veterans' hospitals? I will help them walk back to the border by shoving a shotgun up their butts, and that's the only help they're getting from me.
"This thread's main article suggests sites like FreeRepublic are hurting that effort."
I certainly hope so.
"Of course too many FReepers are too shallow to grasp that concept."
Or rather, they understand the issue much more fully than you do.
Do you think President Reagan would have invited you to lunch after reading your post?
Or would he'd more likely invite me?
Thanks for playing.
Just another lib angry about free speech. How else are we supposed to give our thoughts expression? Oh, right, we're not supposed to be honest about what makes us angry about the government or society. They just want us to be nice little liberal zombies, afraid to depart from their "enlightened" agenda.
You should understand that DCprofiteer has admitted hiring illegals to help run a piece of his business, has said that he starts every day at the local 7-11 where they loiter, has said that his first opinion (before any facts were known) was that Ramos and Campeon were guilty and that the drug smuggler was telling the truth and, most telling, when asked about the victims of illegal criminals, the number of ERs closed because of them, the reduction in school services to American kids because of them, in other words, the impact on Americans who don't profit from them, his response was, "YAWN". No concern whatsoever for the price paid by Americans so that he can save a few bucks.
I've seen that before. The guy's a classic barking moonbat.
Going over to that site kinda makes my skin crawl.
Here you have someone without any apparent engineering background making very coarse analogies and drawing sweeping conclusions. Stop me if you've heard this: extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. You have someone positing a conspiracy of staggeringly vast size and audacity, based on an experiment that would fairly rate a failing grade as a high school science project. He then gets on the internet samizdat machine and declares that NIST, the military, the President and everyone else are engaged in some sort of bizarre conspiracy.
There are words in the English language for people like this. The most flattering that comes to mind is hoaxer, or perhaps troll. Are you sure he's not really a Freeper?
The only people who could possibly find this kind of demonstration "convincing" are those who are already convinced.
If so, it was a brilliant ploy but I kind of think it was just a run of the mill DUer. I've been there enough to know that they are all certifiable nuts.
If you can't tell the difference between a Freeper disrupter and a True Believer, you may be on the wrong website.
I was under the impression that we were having a friendly discussion and then you toss this at me.
Good day.
"Or would he'd more likely invite me?"
Me. Reagan didn't like people who would sell out the country for a buck.
"Thanks for playing."
I'm certainly not going to thank you for what you're doing to this great nation.
"You should understand that DCprofiteer has admitted hiring illegals to help run a piece of his business, has said that he starts every day at the local 7-11 where they loiter, has said that his first opinion (before any facts were known) was that Ramos and Campeon were guilty and that the drug smuggler was telling the truth and, most telling, when asked about the victims of illegal criminals, the number of ERs closed because of them, the reduction in school services to American kids because of them, in other words, the impact on Americans who don't profit from them, his response was, "YAWN". My goodness, that's all very interesting.
Good bye...
I wonder, when Tossell walks through a beautiful park on a sunny afternoon, does he notice only the dog turds?
well I'm standing here looking at you
what do I see?
I'm looking straight through
it's so sad
when you're young
to be told
you're having
fun
so unplug the jukebox
and do us all a
favour
that music's lost its taste
so try another
flavour -

what do I see?
a big nothing
threatening me

to be

you're having fun

don't tread on
an ant he's done nothing to you
there might come a
day
when he's treading on you
don't tread on
an ant you'll end up black and blue
you cut off his
head
legs come looking for you
