The problems we all know and talk about in this Administration are a moirocasm of what is happening in the Republican Party as a whole...we have been beaten into fearing our own shadow by the non stop verbal beating we've taken about the head and shoulders by the Libs and the DBM.
All the Libs have to do now is look at us and say "Boo!" and we go running like a bunch of school girls.
Personally...I'm #$#&(@#$*$!!! tired of that.

I've always thought Newt had a good grasp of the issues and could articulate solutions to pressing problems better than most.
But, I agree with you, he could get the Republican nomination, and then fall way short in the general election. And with the opposing 'rat most likely being Hillary, that is a scary scenario.

No Clinton wasn't in front of a Grand Jury. He was in front of the Jury...the judge and the accuser.
He was in the state where he was the former Govenor and in a relatively friendly venue when he did it.
And if you really want to get down to brass tacks about it...the integrity level of a sitting President in comparison to a non-elected staffer should be WAY higher dontcha think?

I have absolutely no faith in Alberto Gonzales. He is the ultimate crony appointment and is afraid of his own shadow. Me neither. He's the biggest disappointment I have with the administration.
Why the HECK he hasn't gone after the leaker's of the NSA phone surveillance, the bank routing surveillance...too many to list, has me fuming.
Something Ashcroft wouldn't have stood by and did nothing.

I looked at that too fast. I thought you said hi bit**. LOL.
To: Sir Hailstone
He clams the "middle class" pays for everything. So he needs to tax the crap of business to make it better. What a dope.
To: txradioguy
So lying under oath is okay in some venues, but not others?
I also think Libby got the shaft, but he either should have told the truth or kept his mouth shut.
To: ChicagoConservative27; All
Romney...Newt and Hunter have the right ideas on curbing illegal immigration.

I said that? Please show me where I did.
"should have told the truth or kept his mouth shut."
I pray you are never in a situation where you are under the hot lights of a zealous lawyer trying desperately to remember exactly what was said years prior.
