Reminds me when the UPN (now bankrupt network) suits ORDERED all their show to do some sort of aids related show. Even foisted the manure on Enterprise.

How the heck did Enterprise deal w/AIDS??

That's it precisely, friend. I LOVE it here (other than the taxes and demonrat politicians in the state).

I agree, speaking as a graphic designer/photoshop guy, I would at least have added some transitional wetness as if the water had soaked into his pants. As it is, he does not look connected to the water.

This is another reason to never subsribe, buy or read any bs from a liberal owned and controlled magazine/

"People like Al Gore jet about the earth, living from mansion to mansion and say that they want to drastically lower the living standards for most people on the earth. Then, the so called peoples's people, who talk about "eqality" the most, think this is just fine."

Global warming in sports, eh?

So, no more "snowed out" games in April, you can wear short sleeve shirts to Fenway before July 4th, players in the World Series won't have to wear gloves and turtlenecks and the Super Bowl can be held at Lambeau Field?

It is telling, the number of people who cannot belive that cover is for real.
SI truly has "jumped the shark".

Thanks for that great montage.
I showed this magazine to my older son and he told me it was no surprise - - many of the SI writers are closet socialists who routinely work Democrat (socialist) talking points into their stories. I almost wish I did subscribe - - so I could cancel.

Do these idiots really think that people who watch football games on the weekend are going to give a rat's ass about how many carbons they use making popcorn, hot dogs or whatever?

This cover and accompanying story were likely in the pipeline waiting for the Oscars to award Algore for his movie, 'An Inconvenient Fraud'. Sports Illustrated never saw a cheap bandwagon they wouldn't jump on for a buck.

I only hope it ends up costing them subscribers.

I have SI bookmarked for each sport's box scores. At least, I used to. Switching them to Fox Sports.... now.

Fox Sports is a superb website and have usually gone to their website, especially during the NFL Season. Too bad SI, which once was a great magazine, is sinking like the
Titanic.

......and the band played on......
