I might qualify Fact 7 to state that there is no *climate-change driven* need for investing in power technologies like nuclear power. There are plenty of other reasons for such investment.

Long article, but great fact based read. I agree that Rev Al and his congregation of global warming fundamentalists will be proven wrong within the next decade. The only question is whether they will admit they are wrong or just change their theory to saying that increased CO2 is causing the earth to COOL>

Of course they will not admit they were wrong. The real goal of the AGW charade is to get people involved in liberal activism. Thus, the likely response to the impending global temperature moderation will be along the lines of: "Our efforts have paid off! We have stopped global warming!! If we can make a difference in the weather, we can make a difference in society! March with us comrades!" And expect more 'hockey stick' statistics to demonstrate their point.

In their zeal to sound the alarm that AGW must be stopped or we're all doomed they neglected to take into account that they can't nail Jell-O to a wall. Saying it -- we can nail Jell-O to a wall -- is one thing. ...Doing it empirically is, well.... a person might as well attempt heading cats.

The thing is, if the AGW zealots had succeeded in gaining control of science it would open the floodgates to other bizarre crusades.

Two questions:

1. Is there a non-FR website where all these articles are bookmarked? The reason is that I want to be able to, or try to, educate members of our local press on GW. Anything coming from FR will be immediately suspect as a right-wing "Holocaust Denier" attempt to undermine "what we all know is the truth -- global warming is occurring and mankind is causing it".
