Finally finished the project I was working on.

I think you spun me when you passed!

Glock pulled off the high score of the week! Good job.

BTW...daughter called from Austin about a hour ago to report on the thunder storm in the area. They fly out Tuesday morning. Also said there was a big music festival there this weekend...

I'm more surprised than any of y'all are.

I'm taking a screen print of that and having it bronzed.

We're going to Atlanta, so all bets are off...

My attorney, Bo, has advised me to refrain from discussing it at this time.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a ribeye to grille...

The Little Debbie car is #21. Today it ran under it's Air Force paint scheme and was driven by Jon Wood. Ken Schrader normally drives it and should have today. Jon Wood is also the son of one of the co-owners of the team.

Ken crashed the car he was to drive during practice so didn't race.

Oh yeah! I saw something about Jon Wood - first race and all. So, he finished the race - no crashes - great accomplishment for him!

We did have some weather last night. WCG spoke of it during the race. Woke me up about 4:00 this morning. Front yard is under water.

We didn't get as severe as further north, just wet. It's supposed to hang around for a couple of days, hope they make it out on time.

Great weekend and some good racing!

The new Neon Garage was just awesome, fan heaven!

Will post only a couple of pics as they are huge, need to figure out how to shrink to fit. Any suggestions?

Lower level of the Neon Garage. One happy Jr fan! Look through the window and the car and crew are right there. The box below window opens up, autographs, talk to crew, etc.

Smoke's ride.

Upper level of Neon Garage. Three workers and one supervisor. Must be union.

We spent hours in the garage. Couldn't get enough of the action.

Smoke whinning about something else! Somebody yelled, "Gimme Hoosiers!"

Happy.

At least it looks good!

The work is non stop.

Tech inspection. Not everything is high-tech.

Check out what his pinky finger is in.....courtesy Kasey Kahne's garage.

Almost game time!

Could not ask for better weather.

After awhile I felt like Nascar Paparazzi...we saw Jack Rousch, Ray Evernham, loads of drivers, etc. Sadly, we saw the paramedics take Robert Yates from the #38 hauler. Have heard nothing, hope he is ok.

Just one fantastic Nascar weekend.

"He'd have won nothin if NASCAR had seen that tire rollin off the pit box. Lucky-dudes"

Unlikely they could have missed it. The tire was stopped by an official in front of the car and yes out of the pit box.

I have no axe to grind regarding JJ but rules are rules.

It got pretty hairy around here last night. We went into full tornado warning mode for about 1/2 hour. They blow the siren from the fire department which is a little disconcerting. Seeing the red banner is one thing, but hearing sirens is another. Fortunately nothing happened. I was actually outside walking the dog again when they started blowing the siren.

Thanks, WCG. Will check it out shortly.

Played hooky from work. 3 days of sun and fun wore this OM out!

At least Jr had a decent race. Would have been better had he not followed Burton into the pits. Doh!

Test - more to follow
