It got pretty hairy around here last night. We went into full tornado warning mode for about 1/2 hour. They blow the siren from the fire department which is a little disconcerting. Seeing the red banner is one thing, but hearing sirens is another. Fortunately nothing happened. I was actually outside walking the dog again when they started blowing the siren.

We don't have sirens down here. First time I heard them was south of Ft. Worth, sitting in a parking lot with grandsons. We didn't know if it was weather or terrorists. :)

All we got was rain.
