"they had biased Libtards stacked on the jury not a trial of Libbys PEERS."
Remember the famous photo from the 1950's era trial of some men accused of murdering civil rights workers, with a bunch of redneck jurors laughing in the jury box, stuffing their mouths with Red Man chewing tobacco? Some conservative cartoonist ought to do the same with this trial, show a bunch of jurors with Obama and Clinton lapel buttons, reading a Michael Moore book.

The statement in and of itself may not be grounds for appeal, but when combined with Fitzgerald's idiotic closing statement it certainly is.
In fact, Fitzgerald went to such great lengths to politicize this trial that it even seemed like he deliberately laid out all these grounds for a successful appeal.

For that matter, if this was Libby's trial, what led them to want Rove, et al's skin?
I believe part of Libby's defense was to claim that the White House set him up to take the fall for Karl Rove... that might be why the jury was asking, "Where's Karl Rove?"

This should have been a mistrial. The dismissed juror showed everyone the media item she viewed. Tainted jury = mistrial.

Has anyone seen the racial makeup of the jury??
I feel that was a big zero for the Republican side.
DC is about 75% black, and 25% rich Whites across the park who are too slick to sit on a jury.

No, but no matter the color of the jurors, it was an OJ jury.

Good afternoon.
"Juries mostly consist of people who are too stupid to figure out how to get out of doing jury duty."
I disagree. I think most jurors take their obligation seriously and do the best they can with what they are allowed to see and to decide about.
There have always been aberrations, such as the OJ jury, but in general most haven't thought like you.
I think that is changing and bias in some form or another will become the norm. I also think the Left and minorities will benefit from this and the Right will suffer.

Not sure about which district he can appeal, but I really don't know the makeup of the courts at the district. I guess he could get lucky.

Why do matters not before the jurors color their deliberations? The demon Rove, genocide-monger Dick Cheney and the clueless tool George Bush should not have been in the minds of the jurors.
How did a jounalist make it onto the the jury? What was the Libby defense team thinking?

I wonder if the jury, iff all sound like this one, will end up talking an appealate court into over turning the conviction. Sounds like they were out to get Bush and took Libby as a "consolation prize."

I have no clue as to why Libby's lawyers let this former reporter on the Jury. I bet he writes a book.

I'm sure this guy is now looking forward to a lucrative book deal, endless appearances on MSNBC and wild sex from a variety of grungy women with tattoos, underarm hair and bad breath.
Exactly! Liberal women = Hells Angels with breasts.

Trial by common whizdumb of the media brainwashed.
When this is all over, Libby ought to take the alphabet networks for every dime he can get.
