dave,
don't agree with your assessment
freepers are smarter than that, if you lurk over at DU it probably is at least that if not more
the media itself refers to this as the "outing of a cia covert-agent"
most freepers know, as i do, that the leaker was armitage and libby was being tried for a memory lapse
that is why i would never talk to any press, unless taped

Can you take notes in courtroom?
As a juror, no.

It wasn't "years ago."Then what conversations are you refering to, pray tell? I thought you were refering to conversations to reporters where Libby supposedly revealed Valarie Plame's ID. Those didn't take place a 'couple of months' ago.
It shows what you are here for.
LOL You can untwist your panties now.

That would be a little hard to do -- since it would be a cold day in hell before I ever pursued a career as a lifetime Beltway hack. You do a great disservice to some of our very loyal and patriotic statesmen when you paint everyone in elected office with such a broad brush. Simply being there to serve does not necessarily make one a "hack".
Mr. and Mrs. Libby are going to retire with more money to their names than most Americans would earn in 100 lifetimes. Don't you lose any sleep over this.
OK. Since he and his family have money, he is not entitled to sympathy for having his liberty stolen from him by a rogue prosecutor and jury? This is not a game, and this is not funny. Injustices like this must be confronted. If it can happen to him, it can happen to anyone.

This is a totally "CHERRY PICKED" Jury! Held in DC.You don't have to pick any cherries at all to get a D jury in DC - there's nothing but.
To: Miss Didi
Depends on the state. I believe California allows note-taking, but I could be wrong on that.

Says he doesn't want to get into that

Says they talked about politic after the verdict .. but not before
Now something about getting Valentine's shirts for the jury

Why he didn't just shut up and say, "Can't remember" is beyond me.Agree 1000%.
To: Dave S
Well you certainly don't fit in here. Never have.
What do you get paid to be a Fitzy toady on the internet?
To: LS
Rush hired a Dim lawyer but got better advice than Libby.

I am depressed. There goes my last fleck of faith in the jury system.
To: Rummyfan
Facing a possible thirty years for procedural crimes? Murders serve less on average than that! In the eyes of the MSM and the 'rats Scooter is worse than a murderer -- he was a member of the Bush Administration. The 'rats would conduct their own Nuremberg trails against every official up to and including GWB if they could get away with it.
To: maggief
No, sorry. But he did say he's a registered Demoncrat......as if we didn't know that.
