this case the trial went forward and I suppose has to be completed including all appeals before a pardon can be issued.I believe he can be pardoned at this time. Bush won't do it though.

Why should any one cooperate with any governmental investigation and why would any one speak with a reporter?
Maybe that is the good that comes from this; keep your mouth shut. Refuse to speak without a lawyer and refuse to say anything since what you don't remember might tend to incriminate you as much as what you do remember. Always keep in mind that two people experiencing the same phenomenon will have different impressions about what they saw and/or heard.

Remember it's a DC jury. The more muddiness, the better from the prosecutor's viewpoint. It's 180-degrees off kilter, but that's the reality of these idiots in DC. Libby's lawyer knew this.
The very fact that Libby's lawyer couldn't blow this out of the water in five seconds tells you Libby was not squeaky clean, and that his atty is not the best.

Those are the old rules; this country has changed; they are going to go after him and they will get him.

But Fitz's hope is that now that he has Libby's 'Nads in a sling, he'll start singing like a canary on Cheney to get a lighter sentence.Did Cheney lie to the Grand Jury or to Tim Russert? Because that's all Fitz has on Scooter.
Assuming Scooter has something on Cheney, he'd be foolish to let it out. That could jeopardize his pardon.
To: Howlin
Denis Collins... was on jury. He feels it is his job to talk to us! WHATEVER Denis with one N!

Excuse me, Big Sky...but in post #325, I stated the following:
Rush says W wouldn't pardon him until his last week of office--that is, if he would.
Glad to hear you can remain so calm at times like these. I feel like screaming, so I will--thanks.

This DC Jury system is a complete fraud! If a jury has to ask what reasonable doubt is but can then magically ignore their own questions about a meaning it's a fraud!

thank goodness someone else is wondering about dave,
dave,
i get it that it was about supposed obstruction, although it was a very weak case
the leaking should be taken care of by going after the leaker
as i said before, i would never speak with a reporter again, unless i informed them it was taped
To: Howlin
Mark Rich was never sentenced.
