It doesn't look that auspicious for Rudy.
Well, if CBS is attacking him, that must be a great sign that he is a good guy!
Andrew's got the same shaped mouth as his dad.
Bet you a dollar to a donut that Daddy's paying for these expensive educations, and the son is obviously grateful.(end/sarcasm)
Whatever you think of Rudy, this is disgusting gutter journalism.
I'm sure the kids hear all the grief of the ex-wife, their mother. Of course they are angry at Rudy. Whereas Judy's daughter treats him differently because she sees how good he is to her mother.
It's not really so hard to figure out.
And when the kids grow up, if ever, they will regret their blinded loyalty to their mother. They just don't know how to give up the power of victimhood yet.
Reagan was estranged at times from his kids too and it didn't seem to hurt his political career any.
Multiple paragraphs later, part of the rest of the story:
...Andrew Giuliani is a sophomore at Duke and a member of the school's golf team.
Reported else but conveniently omitted by cBS is that Jr Guiliani has hopes of becoming a pro golfer.
NYT & cBS could have explained that taking a couple of years off from training might not be a good idea for any young athlete hoping to pursue a professional sport but just could not resist the 'working on my golf game' sneer factor.
Possibly they're making up for losing out on reporting Jr Dean's country club Liquor Heist & Jr Gore's Reckless Driving. Wonder how many carbon credits daddy Gore bought to patch up the Ozone Hole left by Jr's speeding Cadillac?
Wouldn't surprise me if by fall Andrew takes a semester (or two) off from college to help his father's campaign.
Stranger things have happened.
Rudy's kids sound like an Achilles' heal.
FReepmail me if you want on or off my New York ping list.
Married three times, everytime to ladies who were one can short of a six pack.
Kids don't think much of him.
Shacked up with a gay couple after his last divorce.
Yep, a man of sound moral fiber. But hey, at least he hates Arabs and can beat the all-powerful Hillary/sarcasm
BTW: Comparing Rudy to Reagan is like comparing a quarter pounder to a plateful of prime sirloin. There is no comparison!
I don't care one way or the other about his family situation. I care about his views on the Second Amendment and the Constitution. The media bringing his family into it is trashy.
Who really cares if he is estranged from them. They were probably influenced from his wife, the talking vagina.
As a Duncan Hunter supporter I am choosing not to engage in debate on this Rudy Giuliani thread on Free Republic. As a freeper I am disappointed that there are fans of a liberal presidential candidate trying to push socially liberal views on this socially conservative forum. In particular, I have noticed that the Rudy G fans do not answer posts questioning the qualitative substance of their candidate, or the posts are met merely with insults.
