Coulter utters the new f-word

Will Ann Coulter never learn?
There are some things you just can't say, not even in jest. And at the top of that list right now is anything derogatory about the "gay" lifestyle or, worse yet, anything that is considered a slur against homosexuals, a protected class of people with special rights which entitle them to live free from all offense.
Ann surely should have known this. After all, hasn't she seen any of the countless films or TV shows produced by Hollywood in recent years which promote homosexuality as a perfectly normal and acceptable alternative lifestyle? Indeed, the homosexuals in virtually every one of these films and TV shows are smarter, funnier, hipper and more humane than the heterosexual characters.
Hasn't she seen or read any of the endless media stories promoting homosexuality in the same glowing manner, with never a critical word to be uttered? Doesn't she know that our schools are teaching children that homosexuality is a completely legitimate practice, and one we must all embrace and support as such whether we engage in it or not?
Yet despite all of this, Ann had the unmitigated gall to get up before an overflow crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Friday, while the cameras were still rolling, and say this: "I was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, but it turns out you have to go into rehab if you use the word 'faggot,' so I so kind of an impasse, can't really talk about Edwards."

This fine author says the same things I have said recently, except in more eloquent terms. I refuse to be cowed by the lynchmob mentality against Ann Coulter. I also refuse to follow the lead of Michelle Malkin (another fine author and I mean that seriously) in her ignorance of comparing homosexuality with a particular race. Homosexuality is a sex addiction defined by disgusting and dangerous behaviors. Michelle Malkin doesn't understand that; Ann Coulter understands that, at least implicitely.

I'm with Ann on this one (and 99.99% of the rest)
It will be interesting to see if the Homomafia can get to her. I hope not.

Maybe this country has just become way too politically correct. It used to be that you could actually have FREE SPEECH...you may suffer for it, but that is your choice. Ann is still number 1 with me no matter what an queer says, and they can say what ever they want to say.

So who is actually the sacred, persecuted cow of the Left these days? Black people? Homosexuals? Muslims? Illegal Immigrants from Mexico and other Latin American countries?

What's wrong with the faggot word? It isn't on the approved list. Unless you are one. Kind of like the "N" word for blacks.

in her ignorance of comparing homosexuality with a particular race. Everyone who disagrees with me is "ignorant" too, but there is no need to say so.

They've already gotten three of the spineless RINOs running for president to denounce her.

You think this is eloquent? I think it is a typical WND-piece.

Here's the deal. This is a very good article and goes further than the weak and intimidated masses dare. But as long as he concedes that respect is something owed to everyone then he might as well not waste his time. He has lost the argument. He can't say he gets to criticize and say all the things he wants to say if he also concedes he is obligated to be respectful. They don't define the traditional conservative position on homosexuality as respectful. Regardless, respect is a meaningless term if it no longer has to be earned. If it is an entitlement then it isn't respect but rather forced phoniness.

I don't know if you listen to talk radio, but Hannity, Rush, and probably most others never mention the homosexual agenda being pushed on the kids. It's extremely frustrating.

Coulter can indeed say whatever she wants, in or not in jest - and she did precisely that. What she and her defenders seem to be looking for, however, is the ability to say whatever she wants, no matter how offensive, without the need to face the consequences.

I have heard from a reliable source that orininally they wanted to call Brokeback Mountain, Faggot Mountain.
