Rudy Giuliani will appear at a high-profile press conference with California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger Monday during a two-day jaunt to raise campaign cash on the West Coast.
The former mayor and The Governator are scheduled to discuss gang violence and crime.

Two peas in a pod, just what we need. /s
Just win, Baby! Don't sweat the details! is like the fly in the ointment out here and what bit us in 2003... regardless of how green or progressive the Gub was back then, he's all that magnified and then some more now.
Contrary to what some try and sell folks about California and being saved by the TwirPinator, it is no better off that it was and the slide is nowhere near as abated as the shills would pretend.
I fail to see how kicking everyone else to the curb so early benefits the nation when most of them are not paying close attention anyway..
The browbeating that goes on as a result by some is too excess, imo.. albeit both sides are energizing the display..
I don't expect it to change anytime soon either until we get some face time from the candidates at debates and forums..
Who wants a landslide? In the modern era, a landslide means you left too much of your agenda on the table.
I have no doubt Rudy himself will get a lot more votes in an election than a conservative republican. But we don't need to win 400 electoral votes. And we don't need to give away half our agenda to earn those last 100 electoral votes.
If you can get a majority in an election, why give away the store to get a supermajority?
oh Rudy can very well win CA not only in the primary but in the general...the last GOP Presidential candidate to win CA was President George HW Bush...what's important to remember is for the last few presidential elections the Dems start out with CA and seldom spend any money out here...that will change this time
I don't understand...
How do you NOT "enable liberals" by voting for someone who can't win?
I don't get that at all.
The same thought almost simultaneously! : )
Let me ask this another way. Do you think if Rudy was pro-life, he'd have less support? Would his polls be lower?
Your opinions, alone, don't count for anything.
well I hope you have your suitcase packed then:)
I saw that when I refreshed. Great minds think alike. ;-)
The Republican Party lost congressional seats in Wisconsin for this same factor too. The socially conservative Democrats voted for the anti-homosexual marriage initiatives, and voted for the Democrats at the same time.
the "leftist" vote? that crossover is no where in the general election polls. All the top Dem candidates are holding their base just fine - against Rudy, McCain, Romney, anybody.
the election is won or lost with the independents. example from Rasmussen: Giuliani has a 64% to 27% advantage amongst independents, when matched against Hillary.
now you may want to describe these independents as leftists - but no matter how we describe them, their votes are essential. that doesn't mean our base votes are not essential, it simply means you need some combination of both to win.
"victory through defeat"
The hysterics, who post here, cl,aiming that they will vote for HILLARY, stay home, vote moribund third party, are the short sighted ones; not to mention RINOS and TRAITORS. All or nothing always get you NOTHING!
VTD.
we lost the popular vote in 2000. you want to hang your hat on an instant replay 537 vote win in Florida? the Dem's improvement in vote fraud mecahanisms will wipe that out this time around.
I think it would be so much fun to be out there working on the GOTV.
Our present dilemma is an example. The CAGOP supported a liberal, European style politician as our governor and now that interloper is biting us all in the arse and the pocket book. Supporting these liberal clones on a national level will end with the same result.
Voting for someone who is a little liberal is like marring a gal who occasionally turns tricks to pay off her Visa card.
Are victories, achieved through the use of political whores or liberal mercenaries, advancing conservatism?
Liberals of a feather flock together...
