I am sick of liberals in the Republican party, and I am tired already of the 300 posts per day here telling me that Rudy is something that he isn't. And that I am stupid or uneducated if I do not realize that he is the best man right now for the job.

Rudybots need to get real, stop assulting readers here on FR, and quit qhining when we post Rudy's record and his own words to prove he is not what yousay he is.

"get your 'gaze out of your navels' and see the 'Big Picture'. "

Again, we get an insult as part of the propaganda being spewed out on this forum. As if I am the one that cannot see the big picture, I must be too stupid to understand so let me follow you and this poster to the promised land.

I know propaganda when I see it, and most Ridybot are posting just that.

'Rudy tough on terror' is utter bullshit.
'Rudy - the only one that can save us' is nonsense.
'Rudy is really conservative' - is bizarro world clap-trap.

So take your meds.
Rudy is a power hungry leftist egomaniac control freak bully who has utter disdain for the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

The guy mutt has more mental issues than Willard.

Again, he did not REVOKE permits; he turned the automatic renewal into a new process that made it extremely difficult to renew.

From a practical standpoint, there's no practical difference. 30,000 fewer permits, 30,000 law abiding citizens to become criminals, 30,000 handguns "off the streets".

Made possible, of course, because the permit is a defacto form of registration which Rudy supports.

I've occasionally alluded to the large number of new criminals the new assault weapon ban has probably created in Cook Co. (Chicago) Illinois. Thus far no articles on how many have been turned in to authorities.

Illinois licenses gunowners. I would not be shocked to see stories of LEOs visiting the homes of gunowners inquiring as to what they own, perhaps requesting a visual inspection. It's happened in Illinois before. Facilitated by the licensing requirement to own a gun.

A few years ago Mayor Daley attempted to get his hand on the purchase records the Clintons should have been destroying. That would have made the job easier.

And clearly Rudy would support these actions, ugly gun bans, handgun bans, and licensing.

Yes there is something "therapeutic" about electing a Soclialist to the WH, at some point the nation must see and learn how eveil Socialism really is, they could have done it the easy way but I guess not.

Rudy is only a few steps up the ladder from Hillery, so at best he is only a delay to the utopian world that awaits us all here in the US.

So I say shite, lets not delay this any longer, lets jump right into Socialism with both feet and all of the horror the left will bring upon us here.

Lets wallow in the filth and dirt and hold our ground but let the nation hang on the edge of distruction if need be.

It is time to take a stand, the US Constituion vs any other beliefs. Rudy for me is not the man, the fact he is being sold here to the degree he is troubles me to no end.

When the Socialists do take over, I will be one of the first sent for reeducation, and when that doesn't work and it won't they will have to figure out some other way to handle me.

"Give me liberty or give me death".

I am sick and tired of having people like Rudy, Hillery, Bush and others steal my earnings to give to people to get their votes.

Hitler marched Conservative, Capitalist, non-conforming jews to Socialisim to the gas chambers, Pol Pot did pretty much the same, as did N. Vietnam at the takeover.

It can happen here. People are sick of being lied to, stolen from, crooks have moe rights then the just.

Sometimes one must let the fever run it's course.

Rudy is but a step on the way to Soclialism here, I say remove the step and lets jump right in and get it over with.

The most learned and passionate speeches and arguments in the world will not induce mt to vote for or in any way support what is essentially a radical socialist plant in what has been until lately an at least nominally conservative party. I am not ready to turn over the entire American political spectrum to the Trotskyites.

I don't think he will get the nod, but as I said it seems we get a post for him every fifteen minutes.

And all who do not fall at his feet are the unwashed and uneducated.

Frm a recent article about Rudy posted here:

Nor is former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani any better. Although he seems tough on terrorism and crime—both of which should be a matter of course for any Republican, not cause for surprise—he is as Liberal as it gets on almost every other issue. Giuliani is pro-abortion—a deal-breaker for most Conservatives—and anti-gun, citing gun control instead of aggressive prosecution of criminals as the reason for the drop in crime during his tenure. His stance on gay “marriage” is ambiguous at best, and he once sued the federal government when he was blocked from prosecuting city employees who helped the INS catch illegal immigrants. Giuliani claims to favor originalist judges like Supreme Court Justices Scalia and Thomas, but the record shows that he appointed Liberal Democrats to judicial positions by a factor of eight to one.

Good plan.

I'll tell you what is NOT a good plan. Putting a candidate out there that is divisive and polarizing to the party. One that has such negativity among a great many of it's members. Why not try to find a candidate that we can all live with? I realize I'll never find that 100% - heck, I'll be happy with 75%. If everyone gives 25%, maybe we can back someone that doesn't bring up such violent opposition as Rudy.

I'm honest enough to admit that many Christians do not behave "Christ like" either, and do not follow the tenets of the Bible.

I'm willin' to forgive an awful lot. Rudy can sell me if he runs on an aggressive, non-PC WoT and on reforming the Federal government.

He ain't runnin' on these things, as far as I can tell. So I ain't votin' for him.

The sad fact is, Lieberman, a Democrat, is to the right of Rudy on most things. If Lieberman was running against Rudy, I'd vote for him.

Where to people keep getting the idea that Rudy is a conservative? Balancing a checkbook and enforcing, and obeying the law (which Rudy didn't IIRC) does not a conservative make. Liberal or conservative, it just means you did your job.

After defining "moderate" and "mainstream" leftward, are they trying to define "conservative" leftward, too?

Well I ain't goin'.

One note about the judges he appointed: he was limited in choice by what candidates were available (there was a list, I think), and by having to get approval for 'em.

I still ain't votin' for Rudy unless someone gives me a much better reason that "he's electable."

What an incredible response! Way back in the discussion, you set forth your conservative credentials by boasting, "I'm a Southerner (thank you, Lord). I'm pro-gun. Pro-life. I'm a Southern Baptist." Then, when you were directly challenged about choosing to support a candidate who believes it is acceptable to kill babies in the very act of being born, you claimed that it was the person asking the question of you who "decided to personalize this," and you declared yourself ready to "re-consider my position on the abortion issue."

The truth is that you are a pro-abort just like the Blue State secularist you support for President. Not only that, but you are a very vulgar one. You should take that "pile of sand" you mentioned and stop up your potty mouth with it.

No I am not a crackpot, and yes if we keep following the road to Socailism it can happen here to.

I never said W would do anything, but I am not happy with some of the thing he has done.

But I woiuld at least like a chance to vote for someone that if on the right of the chart, and he is, but Rudy come on.
