Anyone who has a headache this morning, as do I, should skip Murtha on MTP.

He says we could not respond to an international incident that threatens our national security. I sincerely doubt that and I think it would be foolish for any entity to test that proposition.

Oh, Murtha also says that they had a psychologist testify that our men cannot take more than 4 months of combat.

Tell that to the guys who slogged it out in Europe for years.

Murtha is awful red-faced. If he got so excited that he stroked out I don't think anyone would care.

Reading a few posts on Free Republic can lead one to that impression quite easily.

Some people rejoice in being eco unfriendly to show how "conservative" they are.

I totally agree with you it is ridiculous as most of them would aspire to being good Christian members of the community and as such should protect and look after God's creation. Plus of course save some money into the bargain.

I do not go along with the over hype re climate change etc but I do have energy efficient light bulbs and turn appliances off rather than having them on standby. Commonsense as far as I am concerned.

Also I love re-cyling in my own way using things for different purposes than they originally were intended - one can save a great deal of money this way. Take the handles off a plastic bucket make a few holes in and you have plant pot buy a plant pot and pay twice as much.

History will definitely record Bush & Cheney the best team of Prez & VP ever happened. I vaguely remember how McCain castigated the VP post as one attending funerals in 3rd world and doing nothing else. Prez Bush set an example of team work in defining VP post.

the people voted in November to end the war in Iraq. If he really believed that, they would be more bold in their legislation.....none of it would be "non-binding." It's so transparent they have no real plan other than play a four corner stall through 2008. Gutless.

One can only hope that with the New Media, and all the great availability of sources of data and info that the Radical Judges of Presidential greatness can not do hit pieces anymore. We have to make sure they do not read the lies of Michael Moore and his ilk, that will be a tough job.

He says we could not respond to an international incident that threatens our national security. Right, at the same time it 's ok to go to Bosnia where we never had a threat.

Murtha must've been reading a playbook before the show 'cause he kept up the "The British Are Running" bit.

Murtha is awful red-faced. Yeah...he's starting to look a little Tip O'Neill-ish. Swilling bourbon and leaning to the left has consequences.

Lindsey Graham is a capable advocate, and by that I mean that, if given the task of selling a position, he can do so, whether he believes it or not. (Note: that does not make him a fine fellow in my estimation.)

I wonder how Chris Wallace will question her about the veterans' outpatient care at Walter Reed situation. All he has to do is ask Senator Feinstein if she ever noticed any rats or other problems when she visitied the facility to see her constituents who might have been at the hospital while she was on the the Veterans Affairs Subcommittee.

As for William Jefferson .. Charlie says he should be allowed to have his appointment on the HS committee .. he says that even in Congress a person is innocent before being found guilty

Then Charlie starts whining about all the FBI leaks concerning William Jefferson

Geeez .. He is a real being of work

Charlie Rangel says they are not going to roll back the tax cuts . Because, they CAN'T. Silly media, even when they knew that they won't challenge.
