What a bunch of hypocrites.
Where does one obtain such a gift certificate? Maybe I can make my own and give them as gifts to people who I do not like. Kinda like George Costanza and The Human Fund...
I printed out my carbon offset certificate yesterday for 100,000 pounds. I slept like a baby last night. I will print more out for birthday gifts throughout the year. I love these things.

These had to come from the Gore group. What better way to advertise their "product"? These people "need" to purchase large amounts of carbon credis to offset their lavish lifestyles. I will bet that these carbon credits are going to be written off by Gore as advertising cost.
It's OK folks, we flew here in a chartered 767 for only seven passengers, and we will be riding in seperate stretch limos to the 30,000 sq ft mansion for Vanity Fair's post Oscar party, but we have Carbon Credits!
Obviously, idiocy knows no bounds.
How many of these certificates does it take to counteract hot air generated by that giant gasbag Algore?
How many carbon credits are a cross-country chartered-jet trip worth? The best way for these eggheads to help the environment would've been to stay home.
Let them eat carbon credits...
How do they figure out those damn things anyway? A gallon of gas weighs six pounds or so, but they say it creates like 100 pounds of CO2.
So if I buy a "carbon credit" (and has anyone heard how much these cost???) then I am free to create even more greenhouses gasses? Am I the only one who thinks that these "credits" is just another scam with a scam?
Are they from Algore's company?
The libs and their reflections in the media are now going to play up this carbon credit [crude word for feces].
Liberals seem to live in a world of their own in which they keep repeating nonsense syllables such as "carbon neutral", "bush is hitler", "cheney is bad", "stole the election", "global warming", "Jesus' bones", "bla bla bla".
Hey Doc, algore bought the carbon-credits from himself!

It's a giant scam! ........... FRegards
How, exactly, does buying 'carbon credits' reduce pollution? It's interesting that leftists support a scheme which lets the wealthy to skate all responsibilty by buying what are essentially indulgences. For life of me I don't understand how the liberal house of cards survives all these inconsistencies and double standards.
Now I know what I'm gonna get everyone for Christmas next year! The "Human Fund" contribution cards were getting old anyway.
I'm gonna make "Carbon Credit Wheels", modeled after Tibetan prayer wheels. You just give it a spin on your way out the door in the morning, and you're all set for the day! Two spins if you own a gas-guzzler.
(No offense to Tibetans...)
Earlier this year, I was really concerned about the whole "global warming" movement getting some traction with normal Americans. It's on all the newstands and on the evening news, the kids are even bringing it home from school. I had had a number of discussions on the topic with run of the mill friends and neighbors who were genuinely concerned about it - and otherwise normal - in that they are not enrolled in the Cool-aid brigade.
I think this kind of idiocy will only help to debunk the whole scam with Joe Public. People may like feeling warm and fuzzy because they care more than you and I about the planet, but they won't be feeling so smug when I'm laughing in their faces because they been taken advantage of.
By the way, guess who started up their own carbon offset company and is effectively profiting from the whole gig?? You know who!
This is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Are free carbon credits taxable as income????
