"Voters have no idea if their votes have miscarried, he stressed, At the end of the day, the problem with all electronic voting machines is theres no way to know if votes have been recorded accurately or if votes have been lost."

But then what about our troops overseas?
There has to be a way to trace every vote back to a SSN or some national ID number, and a phone number; we need a voters' bill of rights and that, i.e. knowing that your're not simply sitting there voting against dead and/or fictional people, has to be part of it.
I like my paper ballot.
A dimwits dream, eh?
They, too, can use made-in-America absentee ballots.
They should never be forced to use equipment built by the communist Chinese.
The corrupt Democrats won't even need dead or fictitious people now that they can get away with massive vote fraud so easily with the electronics.
Where I vote, paper ballots are not allowed.
The corrupt Democrats can cause massive election subversion with little effort and no risk of being caught at it, with the electronics.
Hooray...lets kill more trees...we need paper ballots...../s
I also like a paper ballot. I would add an election day ink stained finger.
You left off one very important letter. It's not "vote" but voteR" that needs to be traceable to a real person. Once that person is identified, the secrecy of their actual VOTE needs to be secure. Note that it is the Democrats who are campaigning AGAINST a requirement for photo ID for voting.
Why can't we vote by simply raising our hands? No paper!
Paper manufacture doesn't require 'killing trees' when there are other sources of the raw materials.
Some papers are largely recycled.
Computer scientists found paper preferable to the electronics in a study publicized in "National Geographic":

Some disabled voters couldn't raise their hands, but they don't need electronics to vote, either.
Yep, me too. Tennessee started using electronic voting machines last year in the primary. It was quick, but I really don't like not having a paper receipt of my vote.
I don't buy that, nor do I see a way to guarantee the integrity of elections without SOMEBODY being able to check out how people voted in areas of question. I mean, I've lost a couple of jobs along the way because somebody thought I was too conservative or something like that and I suspect the experience is getting to be common, so the question is basically what else are they going to do? We don't live in Peyton Place or the company town any longer and the ideal of the absolute secret ballot is basically empowering demokkkrats and other gangsters at this point.
[Greens say electronic voting should be scrapped]
Could it be that they, like all liberals, have a hard time fixing the vote?
Why do you believe that?
Vote-fixing is easiest to do and hide with the electronics.
