I had said I wasn't going to say anything about other candidates but with Romney I draw the line. His flip flops and now saying he will do things he cannot do, is too much for keep quiet.
I'm not buying it. Anyone can see for themselves, what Rudy says in his own words in this video.
Rudy Giuliani video on YouTube: "I would like to run on the Democratic line "

Yeah Giuliani really "wooed" the CPAC people. They were very polite to him, even applauding lightly while he patted himself on the back. But he was really bland, following Wayne LaPierre of the NRA. Then Ann Coulter ripped Rudy apart. But the CPAC people were polite to Rudy.
I don't believe Romney for a second, but the Supreme Court only ruled that Congress may restrict campaign financing, not that it must.
So McCain-Feingold could be repealed at any time, given the political will to do so (which is unlikely anytime soon).
Rudy has me convinced: If he gets the GOP nomination, I will register to vote as a Democrat. I mean, why not? He'd do it himself if he could.
"Talk about pandering Romney is the worst. Now saying he would repeal McCain's signature bill overhauling campaign finance laws. What part of a SCOTUS ruling does he not understand."
What does the U.S. supreme court ruling have to do with anything? Congress can still repeal it.
Also Giuliani is the worst. He'll say anything to win. It's unknown if the leftist Giuliani as New York mayor is the true Giuliani, the one pretending to be a conservative now is the real one or the Giuliani that will pretend to be a moderate should he win the primary is the real Giuliani. No one knows.
"I won't govern America like New York." Sounds like backpeddling to me.
Rudy on CSPAN today:
The good thing that Bush did was put us on a new course after 9/11. Bush put us on the offense against terrorism. Before that we prosecuted terrorists as a criminal act. Bush, despite being unpopular, put us on the offense and enabled the U.S. to use our intelligence to be able to stop terrorists and persuade them. It requires us being on offense - Democrats are uncomfortable with this. Dems want to be on defense and go back to the way they did it in the 90's (boohs from the audience).
Finally we all need to understand that America has the right ideas and we shouldn't be embarrrassed with our heads down. (Huge applause and cheers). We have great strength, we are the luckies people in the world. We have freedom and democracy and respect for human rights unlike any other country in the world. Though we have our faults, we acknowledge our gifts out of a spirit of gratitude. It's our job to share it with everyone else and go forward with the ideas Ronald Reagan had.
If we do it right the enemies we think we now have, in the future they will be our friends. We need to do it the way Ronald Reagan did it - "peace through strength".
And some will say anything to support the Rudy candidacy, and hurt his challengers.
How about a real conservative: Hunter and now Thompson.
The game has now changed. The true party is now coming out.
RINO's beware, your strips will never leave you. Flash in a pan.
"Tancredo, who entered the race to stress his opposition to illegal immigration, said he had no problem with being called a single-issue candidate as long as people know "my single issue is the survival and success of the conservative movement in America."
Not only is immigration, both legal and illegal, the single issue that will determine the survival of the Republican party, it is also the critical issue that will determine whether America and its culture and heritage will survive or be driven into extinction.
When Rudy states in no uncertain terms that he will veto HR 1022 and any other AWB as well as all other forms of gun control I'll listen to what he has to say. But tell me you're going to ban my guns and I'll fight you all the way.
Rudy can woooooooo all he wants. This conservative is not going to vote for him.
Duncan Hunter is now in the game.
Aint none of them wooing crap from conservatives.
