WOO HOO!
Law and Order character. It was a joke.
You are correct!
So you automatically assume that Thompson would pick Hunter as a running mate should he gain the nomination? There's zero chance of that happening. He would pick a consensus candidate or someone who would benefit him electorally.
As long as he wasn't cheating on his wife, I couldn't care less if he's a hound.
He's an ACTOR. Now, that may be obvious, but his skills, as you mention would be priceless.
Hillary stumbles, pauses, forgets what to say, backtracks and screeches.
Thompson can MEMORIZE what needs to be said and deliver it thoughtfully with conviction and passion that can stir the listening audience.
ok....i'll double raise you....I love Rudy....and I've always liked Fred except when he was tied up with Lorrie Morgan....didn't show alot of common sense....IMHO the best thing about Rudy right now (and yes, I love him and plan on voting for him) is that he's kicking McCain's ass.....

And I still say: WOO HOO!! RUN, FRED, RUN .. PLEASE!!
Did anyone catch the Chris Matthews thread last night where Matthews said Bill Clinton sounds like Jesus in the Temple when he talks?Blasphemy!
Imagine the contrast that Thompson would envoke, sincerity, no pandering to the audience, no "I feel your pain", or talk about the plantation or "YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKIN' BOUT" (ala Hillary)!
This really could be oratory genius... refreshing.
Yeah...your 75-80% number may be more accurate for me, too. But, like you say...that's a heck of a lot better than the number for several other candidates discussed here often.
You've got that backwards, I never said Thompson would pick Hunter. It's Hunter who would pick Thompson. Hunter's top dog.
I guess we can prepare ourselves to hear him called a RINO. After all, Lindsey Graham's is a lifetime 92 and he's regularly called a RINO.
AGREED!
Troy dated Lori also, but he opted for a regular girl.
The vitriol you are seeing on this thread must derive from previous arguments among these posters.
I have seen nothing posted tonight (with a couple of deviant exceptions - you know who you are) that would warrant the over-reactions.
You might consider this.
If Clinton had been convicted (which I dearly hoped for and which he should have been by all rights), algore would have been president.
That would most probably have led to algore's election in 2000.
The Lord works in mysterious ways.
LOl!
Hillary (you know) is not (you know) a very good (you know) speaker, at least (you know) the times I have (you know) heard her.
I was kind of bummed that John Amos was a bad guy in that movie.
I think he would pick Rudy because Rudy would help him secure the NY vote.
