No, no. You don't understand. We just want to win and we're unprincipled. /sarcasm

Rudy is very bright and I was impressed he gave today's nearly hour long speech without notes.

Hey, I'm a pro-illegal pro-drug-dealer anti-law-and-order poster because I won't jump on the "pardon the BP agent" bandwagon.

But I don't let it bother me. I'm here to argue ideas and philosophy, and what do I care what people I can't even see say about me when they don't know me.

If we would all remember that we define our own self-worth, and that we shouldn't give others power over our own feelings, the insults would just roll off and we could discuss the substance of the arguments.

unless you think that we should handle mass murders starting within our own families.

As Rudy has pointed out, most major criminals in NYC, especially murderers, came from fatherless families. And "Thou shalt not murder" is one of the Ten Commandments, which the nation of Israel was commanded to adhere to, starting with each family. So, the idea of combatting murder, or abortion, first, at the level of the family, but also in churches, and in terms of community witness and service, has merit.

It's a shame the forum owner has decided to let so many of the more ugly posts stand and to permit spam. It's ruining the forum and the media will have a field day portraying Republicans in the ugly stereotypes that we've all seen before.

He's not feeling well. He looks tired and old. I'm praying for his health but do not fear his candidacy at all.

Good post.

They are ecstatic that the general public is being given such a negative view of who and what conservatives are all about.

You can't say that we haven't tried to amke this clear. But apparently - ideological purity trumps character right now.

I do. I submit as my evidence the United States Congress from 2000-2006. The Farm Bill, CFR, prescription drug benefits - all of these and more were passed by a Republican Congress and signed into law under the pen of a Republican President.

You expect the President to veto his own agenda?

That concerns me about those concepts about FR.

For some here though, I'm sure they are orgasmic to hear that.

My sympathy for your complaint about being called a traitor is slightly lessened when you call other people whiners.

When someone is clearly a man and clearly more men than women are the ones running crying to Jim, you think it's bitter for women to laugh at that? ROFL. Poor sensitive you.

Here: I'll spell it out to you. That is actually a Rudy supporter showing his affection to Rudy in the best way he knows how.

Some of your pictures you have a dog humping a Rudy supporters leg. I presume an accusation of bestiality.

In some it's a dog humping Rudy at a charity event. I presume an accusation of homosexuality for male Rudy supporters, slutdom for woman supporters. Or lesbianism if they mistaking him for a woman.

Let me complement you, your's is some of the finest, most incisive political commentary on the site.

Have you considered submitting it for publication.

Given the level support for Guiliani, I'm amazed at the number of gays and beastialists (I invented a new word) in the Republican party. I'm glad to see the big tent is working.

If I'm mistaken, I'd love to hear just what message potential voters are taking from your artwork.

You're equating calling people who like a Republican you don't like treasonous with my calling men who ask Jim to ban Rudy supporters whiners?

Words have clearly lost their meaning around here.

The same could be said for the supporters of Mayor Giuliani that have posted vicious, shrill messages calling anyone who disagrees with their candidate names.

Look at the last 3 pages of this thread - even if someone questions the Mayor's positions on gun control, abortion, or McCain-Feingold, they get shouted down and called names.

One poster spits on those who think abortion is an important issue. Another one appears to hate those who put their religious faith above their political party and even gloats about it.

I think the supporters of Mayor Giuliani have been far more hateful and angry than those who question his positions and level of conservativeness (with the exception of MadIvan, who does post thoughtfully and argues facts, not emotions).
