Good morning! Welcome back!
I guess it's still OK to say "bastard"...
Perhaps we can get a list of the banned words, or an explanation of how the 9th word in Judges 15:15 (KJV) got banned as a profanity.

I am 63 years old and over the years have I acquired a number of addictions that were hard to overcome. While I was going to school and working; both full time, while beginning a family, I became addicted to Coffee (at least 2 POTS a day, every day).
After having given up smoking before I went into the army, one night I saw a whole lot more green tracers than red tracers and I was offered a cigarette. I greedily began to devour every molecule of the nicotine available to me and resumed smoking on a regular basis at the rate of three packs a day.
In Viet Nam I developed a taste for beer. I was able to support that habit to the tune of a 6 pack of Heinekens a day.
All of these addictions were easy to correct. I went cold turkey on the coffee to one cup a day. The Cigarettes I gave up cold turkey after 16 years. The Heinekens were again ended with a placebo of ODouls after 35 years.
After the excruciating absence of Pookis Toons I was going through overwhelming stress. I would not be surprised if the loss of my daily dose of social balance didnt contribute in a significant violent reaction I hade to one of my chemotherapy drugs. I went into shock and had to spend some time in the Emergency room at the hospital. While I cant prove that the absence my daily dose of TOONS contributed to my medical distress, I wouldnt rule it out.
Welcome Back!
Tom
PS: To the MODS, please be considerate of your Freepers on Chemotherapy who count on the wit and wisdom we find on Free Republic. Believe me when I say that you run a site hat is crucial to some of us who find our support in this world from many sources.

Did you realize what an impact you have on "A FReeper morning". Most require coffee and Pookie?
Welcome back (but continue to push the edge).
