I was starting to reconsider my stance, but after learning that Rudy is pro-illegal immigration and...this may be the worst one...HE WAS A SUPPORTER OF MCCAIN/FEINGOLD! That is just downright despicable in my book.
Of course he loves it. If the pro-life/pro-family/pro-gun people expose him right before the primaries, he goes down in flames. If people have as much right to speak against him as he has to lull the sheeple to sleep with 9/11 imagery, he can never be the nominee. McCain did CFR for himself but it's Giuliani who hopes to take the CFR prize, the White House.
To: Labyrinthos
"Many conservatives despise McCain for his leading role in passing campaign-finance reform, which they see as an abomination of the First Amendment.
But Giuliani is an ardent supporter of campaign finance reform as well.
As he was contemplating a run for the Senate in 2000, Giuliani told Wolf Blitzer that he was a "very, very strong supporter of Campaign Finance Reform," adding that he'd been "a very strong supporter of McCain-Feingold for a long, long time now."'
How is this taken out of context?

"I'm still trying to figure out why there are so many Rudy supporters here."
Because they have "the sky is falling mentality" that is telling them that it's Rudy or nothing, that because he is running as a republican (or says he is) that we can and should vote for him. His record is crystal clear, where he stands is unmistakable, some just choose to see what they want. I and many others see him for what he really is...a lib.

Where have I heard that before?

I will admit, this is disturbing. Give me any other Republican candidate who can realistically beat Hillary and I will support him. Except for McCain- he is downright unstable.
The problem is, I don't see any other such Republican candidate. I thought Romney might be, but he has had a very poor start to the campaign.

Still, our choices right now are pretty meager. Mitt Romney is not a great choice and McInsane is the worst person ever. I'm looking at the running list right now and thinking...is this the best we've got!?

With every passing day, it becomes a little bit more clear that Rudy's supporters support him because of the fact that he is a Clinton clone, not in spite of it.
I just can't believe FR has become a hangout for these Xlintonian types.

Maybe us dumb hicks in flyover country don't know as much about New Yawk politics as you obviously do - but we do know a liberal when we see one. It's the rest of Rudy's words on the video that are most disturbing to us conservatives.

We've got 10 months to make the case for Duncan Hunter. He plays well in the flyover states. And his issues play well in the coastaliberal states. Think Proposition 187 out here in Caleeforneeya. Even with the media hammering away at it here in this liberal state, it passed by a considerable margin.

Speaking for myself, I'm not a Rudy supporter. I'm a Hillary hater. And I don't see anyone else who can beat her among our choices.
