Juls sisters husband. Ron was my age.
I left the hospital at 7:55, the room in ICU was full of people all family and close friends.
When I got in my van I just Prayed that the Lord just take Ron home and not to allow the doctors to drag this out. The only reason why Ron was still with us was the resperator, if they shut it off he would go.
That is never an easy decision for anyone so they were waiting it out, it was a heartbreaking deathwatch.
So I Prayed at 7:55 and Ron went home at 8:15 peacefully with no pain. Just before I left I whispered to him, be well my friend, see you soon.
His wife Jackie said she really didn't want to be there at that moment, so with the Divine intervention she had to go to the ladies room, Jul went with her. Then she got a cell call, paused for a minute. When she walked into the room Ron was at Peace.
Heart wrenching but at the same time, when we lift it all up in Prayer, our Lord and Saviour answers as he did tonight.
I'm goin to bed now, sleep well my friends.
See you for coffee and the Great Word..
