WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Al Gore is garnering wide praise following his documentary's win at last night's Academy Awards -- even from White House Press Secretary Tony Snow. Asked in a press briefing Monday what he thought about Al Gore's documentary film, "An Inconvenient Truth," winning an Oscar, Snow said, "I'm happy for him," and mused, "It's good to have a second career."

...however, some animals are more equal than others.
"Don't you realize that you shouldn't question your betters? "Do as I say, not as I do" should be the motto of the left."
Well......I will remember that from now on...
(darn, you'd think I would have learned that by now living in SEATTLE!)
I thought Al Gore Junior's second career was as a slum lord. Or was it college professor? Guess those didn't work out.
Neither did "self-righteous music critic", a role he played at being in the 1980s when he and his wife trashed Dead Kennedys albums.
Or how 'bout this for 'irony?'
So the maples formed a union
And demanded equal rights
the oaks are just too greedy
We will make them give us light
Now theres no more oak oppression
For they passed a noble law
And the trees are all kept equal
By hatchet,
Axe,
And saw ...
Anyone?
RUSH.
Hemispheres?
Neil Pert. Geddy Lee. Alex Lifeson?
Obviously, all of the above LOVE the idea that Gore will be emboldened to jump into the Rat race. Imagine the fractionalization that will produce!
BINGO!!!
#5 Exactly! "Wickedly nice" is perfect! LOL
If it allowed him to get that dig in who cares the point was made.
Or at least, "Ain't that speshul."
Yeah that is true and that is why the GOP , W and the rest of the Party is getting ripped daily. Bush is too nice and it is time to defend himself, his Admin. and the conservPubs who put him in power! The Congressional Pubs could also use a bit more partisanship not bipartisanship which ole Arnold is stressing in Ca.
>> Bush is too nice and it is time to defend himself,
Defend himself he should, but not to sound like those that assail him relentlessly, often with disrespect, and lack of regard to the public view. In the end, the President wins the battle of bickering as he refuses to participate; it's a different issue, however, to defend policy, and the blind eye he turns to the media is something he should improve upon as it frustrates most everyone for one reason or another.
>> The Congressional Pubs could also use a bit more ...
I'm thinking interested and courageous.
I wonder if the director will loan Al Gore the Oscar at least as long as a championship-winning hockey player gets to borrow the Stanley Cup. I guess as long as everyone believes you got the Oscar, you did, in that other world down the rabbit hole.
