"What makes you think that the mayor of New York City doesn't need a foreign policy?" Giuliani asked, as the crowd laughed and applauded.
My favorite quote of the article.

One of the best fiscal conservative policies in the 20th century, according to 3-4 people, including Newt Gingrich.

"I don't think anything separates us more right now between Republicans and Democrats than how we look at taxes," the former New York mayor said. Defense, Rudy, defense separates the Republicans from the Democrats, and it is largely the only thing.

NY needs a domestic policy that permits honest people to defend themselves.
With GUNS.
On the Subways. In the Streets. At the Bus Station. In Cabs.

Most "moderate or liberal" Republicans line up with conservatives on the issue of taxes. They might not have a problem with abortion, homosexual marriage, gun control and other government encroachments but they hate giving their wages to government bureaucrats as much as the rest of us do !!!

Giuliani Says Taxes Helped Sway Him From Democrats to GOPIt sure as heck wasn't abortion. Or gun rights. Or First Amendment rights. Or federalism.

Rudy Giuliani addressed his Democratic past on Tuesday and offered one reason for his political conversion the economy and taxes.
That would, by my count, be two reasons.

That is about the only thing he has in common with conservatives. Everything else remains in common with the Marxist dimocrats.

I have a question concerning Rudy that I would like both sides to answer.
When he ran for Mayor, did he make any campaign promises that he broke while in office? If so, what were they.

What Democrats really believe ... is that it is essentially a government economy. What a RINO!...Oh, wait...Hmm...Nevermind.
To: PhiKapMom
He gets my nod on the economy, but I want assurance that he will be ready to drop plane loads of bombs over Iran in the face of massive liberal opposition, if it comes to that. I will NOT support a candidate who says all options are on the table but in reality rules out a military strike.

A President who believes in lower taxes AND doesn't believe "Islam is Peace". Sounds good to me.
