I have lost ALL respect for O'Reilly. From his own mouth I heard it:

Mike Wallace's Questions and Bill's anwers:

Pro GUN CONTROL? YES.

PRO Civil Unions? YES.

PRO GAY ADOPTION? AS A last resort. YES.

Anti Death Penalty? YES.

From his own lips I heard the serpent speak. I'll never trust this man ever again! He slams RUSH as but an "entertainer" I think it's jealousy.

But what an EGO! Screaming at AL FRANKEN to "SHUT UP" (well that's something I personally have always wanted to do, too) because he was outed as a Republican instead of an independent? Right before Franken provides written proof? That makes Bill a bufoon too.

I don't look to him as a person who will advance conservative causes, because he won't. He will do something you don't see elsewhere: he will sit down one on one with a leftie, and ask the questions I want to hear asked (at least a lot of the time). He angers all the right people, and for that I can't completely dismiss him.

I watched the 60 minutes piece last evening, and it really doesn't matter to me what O'Reilly stands for. He's beyond being a narcissistic, self absorbed (but I repeat myself), pompous freak.

On his show Bill always straddles the fence. I have no use for someone who won't take a stand. What he does for kids is offset by his arrogance. I quit watching him because of his inability to apologize when he is rude and wrong to someone.

Remembering that conservatives answer with a 'yes' or 'no' answer when asked for only a 'yes' or 'no' answer (unlike Liberals or Dims who will NEVER say either of those two words in direct response to any question) ... let's take these very broad yes/no issue questions: a.)Pro GUN CONTROL? YES... .b.)PRO Civil Unions? YES... c.)PRO GAY ADOPTION? AS A last resort. YES... d.)Anti Death Penalty? YES

I agree with Bill on all these, given certain circumstances, and I think you and the rest here on FR would also.

I don't believe felony criminals or the insane should be allowed guns. Although I personally don't condone gay life-styles, leave them have 'civil unions', as long as it isn't referred to as 'marriage'. Also, as last resort, adoption option. Lastly, I worked at a large maximum security prison. It takes average of 13+ years and millions of dollars before we get a convicted murderer strapped down. I know what happens when their sentence is for life in solitary confinement. I prefer this sentencing. One hour of exercise (standing) in a barbed wire cage per day and 2 showers a week is hell. They usually don't last long. They go completely insane and later hang-up with a bedsheet.

You forgot O'Reilly is also a poster child for "Global Warming".

I never did like this idiot.

Is O'Reilly running for office or something?

You don't like his show, turn the freakin' channel.

Nothing like logging on to FR first thing in the morning and getting a mirror DU post. I haven't been FReeping much lately and this post is a prime example of why.

Perhaps if he said all the right hateful things and actually did nothing like Limbaugh, FReepers would like him better. I'm sure it keeps him awake at night. /s

I didn't watch the interview, but the gun issue is puzzling, as I did see O'Reilly in a discussion with Geraldo and Bill admitted that he carries. So, I gathered he isn't the 2nd Amendment.

Say what you want about O'Reilly but he is the only guy I hear going after the Judges and Politicians about Child Abuse.

41 States have enacted Jessicas Law which mandates 25 years to life for first offenders of children, directly on the efforts of O'Reilly.

FOX News is going down the tubes and O'Reilly is one one them leading the way full charge these days. His recent policy of let's have Rivera on all the time and the stupid body language nonsense is getting real old. What next Tarot Card reading from Gypsy Momma?

But in general FOX NEWS as a whole has took a huge downturn in the past few months with it's reorganizing. If you want news go elsewhere. FOX is far too focused on Tabloid style stories these days. Breaking News after 10:00PM forget that also The show Red Eye Express? Horrible and you can't even watch the news scroll during it. Putting Rivera back om his own show cheapens their credibility as well.

Bill O'Really? and the Nose-Pin zone.

The only thing he has done right in years is banging the drum to put pedophiles and the judges who enable them in the spotlight.

BOR has never claimed to be a conservative, so I'm not really surprised about where he stands on the issues. That doesn't bother me. What does bother me is that he claims to be "lookin' out for you" and that he's "no spin." Well, he's always come across as egotistical but, after seeing him spin the Hornbeck comments, I'm convinced that he's only "lookin' out for Bill!"

Bill is OK, not my favorite that's for sure. I will listen to his radio program when I'm at the lake cabin but I'm not a huge fan. He doesn't have the guts to take a real stand on some issues, and I can't admire that. He's about 60% in my corner but I really need more than that.

Although I would really like to see him kick Al Frankin's a$$.
