What's the verdict on Ellen DeGeneris?

Mixed reviews for my part....she's a lot better than Letterman or Whoopi, not as good as Crystal...

Took me a minute there to figure out whether you meant tonight, or you were just channeling Rita Cosby again.

Gore was graceful. He has not lost as much weight as that early photo suggested. He isn't running for president.

Holy crap!! (Pardon my french) The AlGore coronation!!

To: wouldntbprudent
If he loses some weight and gets back the "handsome" look...I think he's got a real shot. Before I get flamed...there's a lot of Amurricans who go for style over substance.

I will go on record now. I think he has 2008 locked up.

Thanks for the ping!

Mom, daughter and I were talking, the only thing we wish we would have seen was "The Queen".

We probably would have liked Will Smith in "The Pursuit of Happiness" (just because we like Will Smith) but daughter wasn't able to see because her dad said it was too sad.

Hollywood needs to work on putting out some better films if these are our choices.

Actually, I thought Al's first schtick was well-done.... pretty funny... and, the second was short and sweet... Considering how it COULD have been....I can deal with it..

I figured that's what must have happened. My husband is upstairs watching it, and I just heard him shouting profanities.
