Just watched Bill Kristol repeat Geffen's charges with a big smile on his face. He really enjoyed it.

Bumiller says Hillary succeeded in muddying Obama.
I don't agree with that.

AHA!! That is right, she was here...it is her fault. LOL

I have heard pundits say that what Geffen said is no big deal.
I think it IS a big deal...and I would look for that quote to be used quite a bit.
Picture one of the Dems' debates...and either a moderator or one of the other candidates giving that quote..and asking Hillary to comment and tell us what Geffen was talking about....

I agree it's a big deal.
I can't think of a single "moderator" though with the stones to throw it in her face.

I think the ones that are saying that Hillary came out "on top" of that Geffen, Clinton, Obama exchange....are just her fans, not thinking people.

Be nice if Wallace ever one time had the balls to go after a current office holding Democrat.

I thought 94 was more about "accountability" in that voters were fed up with congress passing laws while exempting themselves, raising their pay when ours was not going up, and their sheer gall of ignoring voters and passing laws that voters opposed. I also remember "promises made, promises kept" as the House did, indeed, pass these in the first 100 days.
For the first time, politicians said 'vote us out if we don't perform" and that's exactly what happened in 2006. By comparison, Pelosi's 100 hour promises were gratuitous and she never meant to keep her word.

Excellent, you have the strongest stomach on this thread to tough out that crappola with SPit Matthews. The panel is delusional about Hillary. The rats want someone that can win and have been waiting for a long time to dump the slick couple because of their enormous baggage, Hillary is a street fighter, who hires thugs to do her bidding, and usually that is kept under wraps, but now they are coming out of the woodwork telling all kinds of good stories about how two faced she is with the negativity being mostly on their part. It is a great fight and the Rats now have their perfect candidate that can rid them of this albatross. Osama Obama is overconfident, cocky, rude, very anti-Military, and is getting huge amounts of positive Press. This is just their type of Guy, and this will be a knock em down drag em out fight til the death for Obama and Hillary. It was a great report this AM telling us what the lower types are spouting (and spitting) on the Chrissie show.

Brit...fair, balanced...and unafraid!
Brit is so good an interviewer, he could tie her in knots and never mention the Geffen remarks.
