On another note, why do other nations assume that they can lean on us, rather than strengthening their own countries, both politically and culturally? Why do some citizens of some countries believe that they have a right to critique every aspect of British governance, from immigration policy to the maintenance of the Royal family, yet believe that British concern about who is the next leader of the Free World is out of order?

Unless you show me the rule in writing, you lose. Sorry. That was the deal.

You posted TO me, as well as posting ABOUT me.
Put up or retract everything you have written about me on this thread. Come on, surely you owe it to all of us, to say who is a Rudy supporter, but who has posted that I am "the meanest person on FR" to a thread.
If you don't name the person and include the title of the thread, as well as the number of the post, you are lying and we all will know that that's all you are...........A LIAR!
To: Delphinium; PhiKapMom
The dictionary says; endorsement mean "giving sanction to, or support to., among other things. You continue to ignore when Rudy made that comment and what he said afterward. He made that statement before he officially ENDORSED Bob Dole.
In addition, after Clinton's pardon of Marc Rich (whom Rudy had first prosecuted), Rudy declined to even meet with Hillary.
You would know all of that if you'd read these threads.

I would counter that by saying that I am not going to be disloyal to my own thoughts and opinions by agreeing to something I don't agree with. I have not (intentionally) expressed my thoughts to Jim in a rude or disrespectful manner. If he wants to ban me, that is his perogative.
However, I am of the opinion that richness of Free Republic is in at least in part, due to the people who participate and love it. If there is a decision that the people who support Giuliani are to be excluded, then it will be all the poorer for them having been exiled.

That's incorrect. I am right.

Why do some citizens of some countries believe that they have a right to critique every aspect of British governance, from immigration policy to the maintenance of the Royal family, yet believe that British concern about who is the next leader of the Free World is out of order? Are there actualy posters on this forum who think that you as a Brit have no right to have an opinion about who should be our President?

(Still waiting for the best conservative candidate.)
To: FreeReign
It's your point to make. I know he did some good stuff, and he's not as thoroughly evil as some here make him out to be. He also did some stuff I couldn't support that outweighs the good, especially when there are far better candidates in the race.

No, you have yet to show me the rule. Just because you say you are right doesn't make it so. Gawwwwd, you sound so much like my ex-wife.
You can't win without completing the task. As of right now, you owe FR $10 on my behalf.

This is a U.S.A.-based board and is about the U.S.A.
That does not mean posters can't chime in from other nations, but mutual respect is the rule. I haven't seen that respect coming from you.
I recall posting on one of your threads and being treated to a very rude put-down from you, and have observed presumption on your part.
Attitude makes all the difference. My attitude is pro-U.S.A. all the way, and that includes pro-conservative.

You have been told by M Thatcher that is is a rule here; not to mention one does out of politeness.
I am not going to bother a Mod about this.
And if you want $10 to go to FR, then it is YOU who must send it in.
