On another note, why do other nations assume that they can lean on us, rather than strengthening their own countries, both politically and culturally?

Why do some citizens of some countries believe that they have a right to critique every aspect of British governance, from immigration policy to the maintenance of the Royal family, yet believe that British concern about who is the next leader of the Free World is out of order?

Are there actualy posters on this forum who think that you as a Brit have no right to have an opinion about who should be our President?

This is a U.S.A.-based board and is about the U.S.A.

That does not mean posters can't chime in from other nations, but mutual respect is the rule. I haven't seen that respect coming from you.

I recall posting on one of your threads and being treated to a very rude put-down from you, and have observed presumption on your part.

Attitude makes all the difference. My attitude is pro-U.S.A. all the way, and that includes pro-conservative.
