Excellent!
You would be much more effective spending your time endorsing someone else.
---"You would be much more effective spending your time endorsing someone else."---
I have officially endorsed that candidate who goes by the specific name of "Not Rudy Giuliani."
But my actual list is (for the record):
1.) Newt
2.) Hunter
3.) Romney
4.) McCain
5.) Third Party
I think most of us would pick Newt or Hunter.....if they can get noticed and have such a high popularity rate to win!! It's early....so maybe it will happen.
"It is a source of never-ending irritation to liberals that Americans like to hear conservatives. Liberals are like the dog food company president who furiously demands to know why their dog food isn't selling. "We've got the snappiest jingles," he rails, "the best agronomists, the slickest advertising campaign, the best billboards, and the flashiest labels! Why aren't people buying our dog food?"
Sounds snappy, but Americans bought a whole lot of that dog food last November.
And W has been doing his best to sell us more dog food.
No need to add anymore : )
1) Uhhhh...
PING!
"Sounds snappy, but Americans bought a whole lot of that dog food last November.
And W has been doing his best to sell us more dog food."
My recitation of the quote was aimed at a liberal presidential candidate posting an (R) after his name, not the `06 election or President Bush.
I get that, but I fear that *whoever* gets the nomination will end up shilling for the same dog food, just because that dog food sells.
Then I'm a proud RINO.
"RINO" was created to refer to those who claimed to be Republican but were so liberal ("moderate" in MSM parlance) that they frequently ignored Republican platform issues. If "RINO" now means conservatives who support platform issues but don't support the "moderates" then I'm in with you.
The most telling item for me in the list is, "Refused Conservative Party compromise on Partial Birth Abortion required to get endorsement." This shows he is unwilling to even consider that conservatives are part of a coalition whose views need to be considered. Besides being in favor of an inhuman act with no possible reason for its performance.
Oh there is a reason for its performance:

Rudy is NOT my choice for anything except : LIB of the year.
free dixie,sw
Bernard.
Kerik.
This may be Giuliani's most egregious flaw, especially when you look beneath the surface and see the sordid details of that story.
Someone speculated here that George W. Bush hasn't even spoken to Giuliani since that debacle. I don't know if that's true, but as I think back over the last two years I don't recall any public appearance with the two of them together since 2004.
********************* WE NEED TO UNITE IN OUR PURPOSE!!! ************************
Keep your eyes on the ball... The CONSULTANTS are earning their money now, trying hard to find the weakest spot to get this lefty through the primaries.
I DON'T BUY the argument that Rudy is a CHAMPION OF NATIONAL SECURITY or the MOST FISCAL CONSERVATIVE on the plant earth /s. This is all BS, a SMOKE SCREEN by the Left, to "get him through" somehow and bamboozle conservatives into voting for him!
Hey, now we used the same tactic to get Arnie, and he is no RINO. He is a full blown Liberator.
