Democratic political strategist James Carville is revisiting the Swift Boat Veterans for Truths attack on John Kerry in 2004 to scare up financial support for Hillary Clintons presidential campaign.
In a mass e-mail sent out under the "Hillary for President banner, Carville offers a quote from the StopHillaryPAC: "Those Swift Boat Veterans for Truth were the real heroes of the 2004 election. We at the StopHillaryPAC want to do the same thing to Hillary.
Carville writes: "You read that right. There are people who think the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth are heroes for what they did in 2004 and now they have their sights set on Hillary...
"These swift-boaters know, like you and I do, that Hillary is the strongest candidate Democrats have. They know shes a fighter who will stand up for whats right, as she has done all her life. And theres nothing they fear more...
"Lets show these attack dogs what were made of.
Carville the architect of Bill Clintons win in 1992 asks for contributions of $100, $50 or $25 to Hillarys exploratory committee.
On its Web site, the StopHillaryPAC statement quoted by Carville actually reads in full:
"We at the StopHillaryPAC want to do the same thing to Hillary: take her record - ever since she became a radical, America-hating lawyer at Yale Law School in the 1970s all the way through her years in Arkansas and the White House and now as a Senator - and use it against her.

There are people who think the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth are heroes for what they did in 2004The technical term for this belief is "normal".

Not likely. It is all scripted and Obama is Hillary's gift. He will suck all the oxygen out of any alternatives to her then fold like a cheap lawn-chair once all the syncopates in the media start asking him the questions they should be asking now. By then, it will be too late for any alternative to the witch.

Amusing..... It seems that leftist gay billionaire former FOB David Geffen is now part of the "Swift Boat" "attack dogs" Carville is worried about........ after all, Geffen savaged both Clintons as chronic liars and alluded to Bill's never-ending "zipper problem"........ better hire more bodyguards, Mr. Geffen, for there's something called "Arkancide" you should be concerned about.
As for Carville, there is a venomous snake who should be dropped off in the Amason somewhere so he can commune with more of his own kind of reptiles.....

Hillary doesn't qualify for "Swiftboating". The only combat she has ever seen is against Bill using lamps, ashtrays and decibels.

Well, if they don't want to be swift boated, they have to be ready to talk about all the old Clinton scandals, and Hillary's role.. And her liberal politics.
Hillary might not be in this position except for the swift boaters. Because Kerry would be running for re-election in '08 if he had won last time. Some think the Clintons were happy Kerry lost so that it opened up '08 for Hillary .
To: wagglebee
"These swift-boaters know, like you and I do, that Hillary is the strongest candidate Democrats have.
And the liberal democrats know that if the truth about Hillary! ever goes mainstream, her candidacy is O-V-E-R in a heartbeat, just like Kerry's.
Imagine being a liberal, and knowing that your hero is the Dark Lord Clinton... and that the dull, scampering nervousness your poor little liberal brain can dimly intuit is what is left of your soul telling you "Get out while you still can!".

In Hillary's case it isn't swiftboating; it's more like "tub-of-lard"-ing.
James Carvile is proof that some men evolved from snakes.
