I would NEVER say "McClintock" an you know it! LOL

And yes, I was "grasping at straws" when I said Simon!

Other than Haley Barbour, I can't think of anyone I'd like for VEEP. Have YOU any suggestions?

Sometimes they and sometimes they aren't; Cheney was a pick out of thin air!

Yes, the people I named would make good cabinet picks.

Any suggestions for VEEP?

I had a same thought about JEB. Do you think Palenty can deliver MN? I think the VP will come from the South. So, yes, Barbor or Fmr. Senator Fred Thompson.

Thune is good, but we don't want to lose a seat, do we?

Bill Simon ran for Governor in CA and he was a HUGE flop. So why would Rudy want to tie an albatross around his neck?

I think Bill Simon is a great person, but after his failed run for CA gov, he would not be helping as a VP candidate.

Because I'm having a difficult time thinking of good Conservatives, who could be a good "fit" to Rudy as president.

I've always like Barbour and Thompson but there are many to choose from....remember all the campaigning he has done for candidates that were running in 04 and 06....

Post WWII, I think Bush 41 is the only GOP VP candidate to have ran in the primary against the eventual nominee.

Thompson doesn't want to be in politics anymore; that's a fact and so I doubt that being VEEP would tempt him back into it.

Yes, I know; Rudy has a LOT of chits to call in. But the question is WHO would be a good fit, who can draw in a big region, and who would invigorate the populace.

The MSM made up that junk about how "Cheney gave "W" gravitas"; remember? But President Bush has known and liked Dick Cheney for a very long time and THAT was what was important for that ticket.

Rudy will have to pick someone he knows, likes, and trusts, but also someone whom the voters will feel the same way about. Which rules out everyone who is running against Rudy right now.

Are you at all aware of where that picture is from?

IT WAS TAKEN AT A CHRISTMAS EVENT AT RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL, FOR A CHARITY EVENT!

What, pray tell, is your particular problem with that?

I truly believe that those who posts these pictures of Rudy have the HOTS for him! Perhaps they should all finally just come out of the closet.

Why worry about a Democrat winning in 08 with a leftist like Giulani in the race. He should be the darling of the party; Dem that is.

"Do me a favor: Stop using the term "New World Order". It's a meaningless term invented by the Pat Robertson crowd to denounce anything they didn't like. "

"I mean, really, what does it mean? Can you really say anything concrete about it? Because if you can, you are the first."

Since you do not know about the "New World Order" try this you tube site. You tube was down the earlier part of the night. The concept of the new world order is nothing new. Bill Clinton and George H. Bush does a good job of explaining their concept of the NWO. This is also the reason most conservatives are against it. Please notice that most democrats and Rinos agree with this.

If you have any more questions about the new world order or the one world order, please ping me or the above freepers.

"Ditto. McCain is finished in D.C., his days of wanting the White House are over. Even the media dismisses him as one word..."OLD".

It's still very early in the game...but if the current poll numbers hold through early 2008, and knowing what I know of McCain, look for him to pull a Perot, run as a third party spoiler and put Hillary in the WH.
