Why [are] so many young Muslims are falling in love with Latinos, getting married, forming wonderful families, and integrating together with such harmony and positive contributions to each other?
Why many Hispanics become Muslims, and why many who are not Muslims, give their children Islamic names (like Omar, Fatima, Salma, Ismael, ...), loving the Islamic culture and art, and integrating it in their homes (arches, patio gardens at the center of the homes, tile roofs, even cooking traditional Muslim meals like Paaia? Many women (especially in Mexico) are empowered by the Islamic Rights and keep their last name after marriage!
Few years ago, "El Clon" was one of the most watched Spanish language soups on Telemondo TV station. The story was based on a Moroccan Muslim family member falling in love with a Brazilian. This soap was so popular, they stretched it for a year, and you could not escape hearing conversations about it.
These days you can't easily distinguish between a Mexican American, and Arab American, in fact, right after 9/11, hate crimes against Muslims took a sharp rise, and many Latinos were harassed, chased, and attacked mistakenly for looking like Muslims. If you drop by at any local high school during lunchtime, there is a good chance you will see students grouped together by ethnic background and areas of interest. The blacks form a group, the skaters form another, the Latinos normally form several groups and among them you will often see the Muslim kids.

While you read it, realize there are a lot of good Hispanics unwillingly providing cover for these interlopers by our refusal to separate the wheat from the tares.
While I feel we need strict control of our northern border, it's still easier to hide among millions they resemble than a handfull they don't.
It just means that when this country finally gets cleaned up, we're going to need a heavy broom.
It's irrelevant. The entire article is "wishful thinking" and doesn't even come anywhere close to reality much less touch on it.
Hmmmm... I live in a predominantly Hispanic state and I can tell you the people here have very little use for Muslims. the moonbats, on the other hand, embrace them with open arms.
Guess we'll have to go dig up the photos of the islamderthals marching in our streets with the other illegals.
Interesting article. Many latinos have converted to the Muslim cult.
I'm amazed that with the WOT going on, we are allowing so many Muslims to legally immigrate. I think it was about 80,000 last year.
I'm sure Hugo Chavez wouldn't mind helping his Iranian pals in getting here.
More like, read this and understand why they don't test drive snowmobiles in the Florida swamps.
Fatima is a nice name. Reminds me of Our Lady of Fatima.

>in fact, right after 9/11, hate crimes against Muslims took a sharp rise<
That is a LIE. According to FBI statistics hate crimes against Muslims DROPPED right after 9-11.
All Mexican women keep their father's family name after marriage. They do lose their mother's "maiden name" and add "de" followed by their husband's family name.
Thus Maria Consuela Rodriguez Lopez would become Maria Consuela Rodriguez de Ruiz after she married Jorge Jose Ruiz Castro.
Islamic Rights for women, yea right. The right to be covered from head to toe (that's not gonna set well with the chicas of Latin America), the right to be beaten by their husbands, the right not to drive a car.. etc, etc.
Oh yea, and the right to "female circumcision, aka clitorectomy, aka female genital mutilation. I suspect that would get a bunch of would be mutilators mutilated.
So...should we refer to them as Mexilums or Muslicans?
Fatima is a Spanish name.
Prayers that these kids return to the Catholic Church.
It is, but it is also an Arabic/Muslim one, introduced into Spain during the seven hundred or so years the Muslims ruled there, which only ended in 1492.
