Cabbie runs down students after argument over religion

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A local cab driver allegedly tried to run over two customers after a fight over religion became heated.
The incident happened early Sunday morning on the Vanderbilt campus and left one man hospitalized and a cab driver arrested, said police
Two students visiting from Ohio were coming from a bar downtown when they got into an argument with their driver over religion, said police. After they paid the driver he allegedly ran them down in a parking lot.
Ibrihim Ahmned, of United Cab, was arrested and charged with assault, attempted homicide and theft.

I am sure he was, but I am NOT sure about the sympathies or statements of the students. THAT would be worth knowing and would certainly make the story actually 'newsworthy'

this guy should go away for awhile. but due to the timing of the incident i would say the drunken college students werent on their way home from church group. they must have said some pretty bad things. however, it does not excuse attempted murder. deport this guy who evidently hates america but wants to live here.

Muslim cabbie: "Have you been drinking?"
Drunk frat boys: "That's none of your business."
Muslim cabbie: "In Islam, drinking is forbidden. Why do you choose to disobey the will of Allah?"
