Giuliani's problem with the religious [large graphics]
Posted on 02/18/2007 4:12:23 PM PST by Jim Robinson
I don't know about you, but I doubt the Christian conservatives throughout the red state farm belt and especially down in the South are going to cotton to a liberal New York Yankee coming down to try to clean up crime by taking their guns and bringing abortion and gay unions (gay marriage) into their families, schools and churches.

You have outlined his problem clearly.
I wish Sean Hannity would quit pushing for Guiliani. I may have to stop listening to him if he keeps it up.

He's running for President, not Pope. Did you not vote for Reagan because he had been divorced?Ah, so you don't really like folks who practice what they preach do you?
Ronald Reagan was Catholic? Who knew?
BTW, what moral code is it that treats the killing of unborn children and divorce as equal?

SS,
I understand the second amendment but Jim's map addressed the first.
Now, please go to your corner, get your shotgun and bring back a nice duck for supper.

I find it hard to believe that those people aren't able to discern the difference between Giuliani and Clinton.
What part of Rudy saying that most of Clinton's policies are similar to most of his don't you understand? As far as winning the war on terror, I have a modest proposal. Tear up the constitution, dissolve the Congress and make me king. I'll have your war on terror won in a month. What's that? No deal? There are things equally importanr? My point exactly.

Yep, I read your homepage several months ago. It's very impressive, and you are a very impressive person as well. Thanks for serving your country honorably. I admire and respect you for that.
You could out debate me by a mile I'm sure, but it doesn't make what I said to you any less true about you claiming to know values voters better than I do. You know nothing about me, so how could you decide you know more about values voters than I do?
Why would you ask me if your tag line offended me? Seems you are a little defensive about this even though I never made any comment to you about your tag line. Isn't that being a little bit judgmental on your part? I admit, your tag line is confusing to me. I'm a Christian, and have a relationship with God, and according to your tag line having a relationship with God equates to mind control. You say that Christian's ability to think is inhibited. Since you claim to be a Christian, where does that leave you?
You claimed to be saved "by my criteria even". Again, no such conversation was made by me regarding your salvation. I think you made a big leap here in making a comment like this. When you said this I had to go back and see what I said that could have prompted you to say such a thing like this. I don't find anything, but if I did say something to that effect, please point it out to me.

Several Southern states voted for Clinton/Gore in 1992 under the false premise that they were conservative Democrats and Ross Perot.
2008, the South has become more conservative and will not vote for Hillary or Osama.
To: LdSentinal
That's fine. Maybe he can run on a "No New Pot holes" pledge.
