In an earlier thread, I said it would not be wise to damage the Three RINOs until just before the actual primaries begin. But, perhaps, it might be advisable to slow down one of the three, if they appeared to be pulling away from the other two. Rudi has plenty of sore-spots of which not even most Republicans are aware. It may already be time for a bit of illumination on our "hero".

Looks to me like the Hunter fans have become the anti-Rudy crowd. Yet we are supposed to post nice things about Hunter -- ask Pukin Dog what he thinks and I share his thoughts. Figures a supporter of someone with less than 1% of support wants to take out a frontrunner. Hunter doesn't stand a chance. You seriously misjudge the support for Rudy across the Country if you think a small portion of Republicans are going to join your little throw out the front runner. Republicans across the Country want to win this election big in 2008. Some of you have thrown your last temper tantrum to the Repubican Party. We are getting people back active that have not been active in a long time.

9-11 & Rudy:
For me it will always be the image of a devoted shepherd, defending his flock against a pack of wolves. Rudy's leadership during 9-11 saved us all.

It may already be time for a bit of illumination on our "hero". Everything about Rudy is out in the open and has been rehashed over and over in the media. If you think FR has any influence because they bash Rudy - actually it is having the opposite effect. More people are joining up BECAUSE of the silly bashing and rehashing. FR cannot slow down any candidate. And to think they can is ridiculous. Why not post more about the other candidates instead of trying to even think of slowing down one. How much influence do you think FR has? Not much I can tell you and every Rudy bashing post is becoming the laughing stock of the blog world and Congresscritters who are getting a real kick out of it.

You have that right! The groundswell I am seeing across the Country is nothing short of amazing this soon. He always had crowds show up before but now there is an excitement in the air with his visits. Longtime activists I know are thrilled he is running and all think our chances in 2008 are now excellent. Only the doom and gloomers of the Party are handwringing probably because they see their influence on the party diminishing. Have to wonder how many of the anti-Rudy posters are Republican or even active in our Party.

This is a VERY conservative part of Ohio (NW Hamilton County) and there were a lot of influential local Republicans at this meeting.
Also, this area is very important for fund raising. The zipcode for Indian Hill a few miles east of the meeting ranked 2nd among all zipcodes in the country for GWB fundraising.

You're right. The far right does not want to accept our country has become moderate. If he's still standing in 16 months, he'll win. America does not want any more globalizing figures. No more Clintons and no more Bushes. that's my only motto for the next election.
The next 18 months are going to be frustrating here.

Looks to me like the Hunter fans have become the anti-Rudy crowd. And that's a shame. But, it is a reaction to this stampede mentality for RG. Many of us, including our beloved host, believe that nomination Rudy is a bad choice and likely to give us a loss.
I started as a Hunter supporter; but only because I want his ideas in my candidate, Now, for me, it's all in my tagline.
Saw Newt on Fox this morning. He is laying low; waiting for the dust to settle. I have problems with him; but nothing like those I have with Rudy.

No way! Rudy got 27 votes at a pancake breakfast, it's all over now.
I took a poll of the seven people in my house this morning and Rudy got zero. I'll alert the media.

Same Conservative website we joined and where we as conservatives still post. Funny thing about conservatives is we don't all march to the same drummer which seems to make a lot of you uncomfortable but it did in 1999/2000 as well. Some of you went from one candidate to another and another and another all looking for the perfect conservative candidate to come in and save your day but it never happened and those of us that supported then Gov Bush from the start never wavered as other candidates dropped out.

Oh you are but you aren't on a website that sets out to destroy a candidate at least I hope not. Because that only brings FR down. If your choice is not good enough that you guys have to want to bring down the other candidate then I feel sorry for your choice if you have to resort to that.
