But, perhaps, it might be advisable to slow down one of the three, if they appeared to be pulling away from the other two. Rudi has plenty of sore-spots of which not even most Republicans are aware. It may already be time for a bit of illumination on our "hero".

Everything about Rudy is out in the open and has been rehashed over and over in the media. If you think FR has any influence because they bash Rudy - actually it is having the opposite effect. More people are joining up BECAUSE of the silly bashing and rehashing. FR cannot slow down any candidate. And to think they can is ridiculous. Why not post more about the other candidates instead of trying to even think of slowing down one. How much influence do you think FR has? Not much I can tell you and every Rudy bashing post is becoming the laughing stock of the blog world and Congresscritters who are getting a real kick out of it.

Oops! My bad. I thought I was on that conservative web-site that I joined many years ago.

The simple fact is that at the moment Rudy is receiving a lot of good news. This straw poll is very early, but you can bet your bottom dollar if Duncan Hunter had win it then the Hunter supporters would have posted it.

I actually don't think that the campaign season has begun earlier than before -- it's just receiving more publicity than before. GWB had to make visits to primary states, meet with pols, shake hands with voters, assemble a team, etc. in 1999. These next few months will determine who is a contender and who is a pretender.
