If you want to live in the kind of country you get when you worship the god of Muslims, Mormons, Baha'i, etc; then, be prepared for your women to live in slavery and to live in a mud hut. How many mud huts are there in SLC?
How many women are enslaved in Tel Aviv?

I certainly don't discount this act as a terrorism event though. How could you? A kid with a gun shooting random shoppers at a Mall is terrorism.

>>When was the last time someone yelled OMG as they were flying planes into buildings, chopping off heads, blowing up school children OR using any of the many ways of slaughtering innocent men women and children that Jihadis seem to see as a holy sacrament.<<
Too true!

Maybe you're right about the agenda. A quick judgment sounds reasonable to me if they found out that the guy was just released from a nut hospital. Know doubt it was terrorism of one sort or another, but he was probably a one man nutcase.
To: zimdog
No, terrorism has a political element. Typical street crime is terrifying, but not terrorism in a political context.

Like the Muslim who drove his car into a crowd because of Jihad is terrorism, but not the disgruntled warehouse employee who run over his boss after his shift. I hope that's making it clear.

If you're saying that if and only if Islam is involved, then it's terrorism, then yes, you're making it clear.

It's not a personal attack towards you. I'm just noting that you and the Iranian government are religiously bigoted against the Baha'is. I'm sure you don't arrest them and torture them for trying to worship, but you dismiss their religion nonetheless.
And that deserves to be criticized.

Know doubt it was terrorism of one sort or another, but he was probably a one man nutcase. The reason you don't jump to conclusions like the FBI did, is you should investigate and wait for all the shoes to drop.
Here is a very recent quote from the father of the shooter, that might keep the story going.-Tom
Repeatedly, in a lengthy interview with KSL Newsradio, Talovic expressed the sentiment that someone trained and pushed his son to kill. He apologizes for the ordeal, saying it makes him feel horrible, like killing himself. .

From one of the stories linked:
The Talovic family fled war-torn Bosnia for Utah in 1998 "to be free," she said.
Talovic's parents don't speak English and aren't answering knocks on their door.
Yup. They just wanted to be free, be Americans, but refused to learn English after 9 years!
They are not Americans and I view them as suspect to this whole tragedy.
