Memo: Stop Teaching Evolution (It's A Plot By The Jooooos!)
Dallas Morning News ^ | 2/14/07 | Robert T. Garrett

The second most powerful member of the Texas House has circulated a Georgia lawmaker's call for a broad assault on teaching of evolution.

House Appropriations Committee Chairman Warren Chisum, R-Pampa, used House operations Tuesday to deliver a memo from Georgia state Rep. Ben Bridges.

The memo assails what it calls "the evolution monopoly in the schools."

Mr. Bridges' memo claims that teaching evolution amounts to indoctrinating students in an ancient Jewish sect's beliefs.

"Indisputable evidence – long hidden but now available to everyone – demonstrates conclusively that so-called 'secular evolution science' is the Big Bang, 15-billion-year, alternate 'creation scenario' of the Pharisee Religion," writes Mr. Bridges, a Republican from Cleveland, Ga. He has argued against teaching of evolution in Georgia schools for several years....

The website cited as a source in Mr. Bridges' memo, fixedearth.com, also denies that the Earth rotates or moves around the Sun:

All of the evidence that is required to expose and destroy the counterfeit Copernican Model of a rotating and orbiting Earth--and the entire evolutionary paradigm resting upon that counterfeit--is set out in this book (HERE) & in scores of links on this web page.

This is serious madness.

LOL! Especially since Kabalah, at its root, is nothing other than a devout interpretation of Genesis 1 and Ezekiel 1.

If you check the legislators site, he's not talking mystical interpritations, rather Kabalah as in Madonna/Esther. Red strings, special water and such.

It happened when the Party was hijacked by the religious far-right.

Those would be Evangelicals?

His sources don't seem to like Evangelicals much, the Zionist thing. Maybe Carter Evangelicals are OK.

They should put some footnotes in the Bible explaining this, because the Pharisees come off looking pretty bad in it. They disagree of fundamental issues, like who should be proslytized to. And the Pharisees claimed Jesus was doing the work of the devil when he was healing. Barely any mention of Sadducees.

"...The Earth is not rotating...nor is it going around the sun...." And this guy says Jews are nuts?

It's flat, thus it's spinning around the sun.

He's a Republican, don't you hate it.

"'...The Earth is not rotating...nor is it going around the sun....'
And this guy says Jews are nuts?"

I wonder what things would look like if what he says were true.

You do realize the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" is a Czarist forgery, right?

I'm well aware of it, as well as it's roots in France long before the Tsar's secret police picked up the idea.

The question should be addressed to the legislator. I simply posted the source of his conspiracy.

Though it's roots are older, and more modern.

Here on FR I've been told Rudy Guiliani is a part of a consipracy by the ever war people of the middle east.

It may shock you, but people do believe these things.

"It's much better to be intelligent, I think."

I'm neither, intelligent, clever, cunning or Jewish...I'm just a circumcised gentile with a humble upbringing and two good looking dogs...

They can be, however, a deal breaker on getting the folks to change their votes.

Exactly, particularly when not condemned directly.

I wonder if they also believe in nature's harmonic simultaneous 4-day time cube.

What makes Chisum a wild eyed loon? Did you bother to read the whole article in the link. HE said THESE ARE NOT HIS VIEWS.

I read the whole article. He properly cited the source, Georgia state Rep. Ben Bridges. Who sports an R after his name.

Rep. Bridges is a a Republican loon, and Rep. Chisum is a Republican loon for promoting these views.

Two Republican loons

Thanks for pointing that out.

And of course this "proves" that creationists (such as myself) are anti-Semitic. And don't forget we're also anti-Catholic, anti-Orthodox, and anti-Black, seeing as how Blacks are all so obviously scientific intellectuals, especially in the Mississippi Delta on sunday mornings.

BTW, I've seen the charge this guy is making somewhere on the Internet (it's an attack on Qabbalah, I believe). Never mind that the most Qabbalistic and mystical Chasidic Jews are the most literalist and creationist.

And then on top of that, they make you spend 20 bucks for the book that "proves" the earth doesn't move.

I'm always entertained by the "it's all a plot by the Joooooooos". LOL. What if some such thing is a plot by the Jews?

That's all part of our plot. Then, when the real conspiracy comes down the pike, whoever warns of it will be seen as the boy who cried Wolfowitz. 8>)

But how would things look if it didn't?

Sometimes I wish I were Jewish so people would at least think I'm clever and cunning.

Sometimes I wish all the conspiracy theories were true, so I wouldn't have to work for a living. 8>)

It happened when the Party was hijacked by the religious far-right.

Spoken like a true liberal.

Classical liberal.... maybe time to start reclaiming that one.
