There's also plenty of history to show that someone who is not as well known or as high in the polls can end up winning the Presidency. Reagan comes to mind.
Reagan had been a two-term governor of one the most populous states in the country, and had already run for President four years earlier. Plus, he'd starred in movies.
Duncan Hunter is largely unknown outside his District, Washington DC, and this forum. They're not comparable in any meaningful sense.
Are you serious? President Reagan was in the movies, was two term Governor of California, and ran for President in 1976. He was not someone that was not well known. In fact, he was one of our better known candidates to run for office of President.
"There's also plenty of history to show that someone who is not as well known or as high in the polls can end up winning the Presidency. Reagan comes to mind." Is THAT the best you can do? Ronald Reagan had been a national figure for almost FOUR decades. He was FAR more well known that ANY of his opponents.
His poll numbers DWARFED those of Hunter.
You are not really this ignorant why would you say something like this?
