The heavy presence of security around Obama was also a silent reminder of the change that took place with the announcement. Michelle Obama, the candidate’s wife, acknowledged it in an interview to air on CBS’ “60 Minutes,” in which she was asked if she fears for her husband’s life as a black candidate.

“I don’t lose sleep over it because the realities are that . . . as a black man . . . Barack can get shot going to the gas station,” Michelle Obama said in the interview, set to air Sunday night. “You can’t make decisions based on fear and the possibility of what might happen.”

Well, I’m sure glad I’m white because that means I won’t be shot while “going to the gas station.” I forgot about that unwritten rule where only black men can be shot and no one else.

11. Pledge allegiance to all Black leadership who espouse and embrace the Black Value System
12. Personal commitment to embracement of the Black Value System.

The Pastor as well as the membership of Trinity United Church of Christ is committed to a 10-point Vision:

Good grief, what a spiteful and calculating woman. MZ. Obsama is an excellent example of black racism, which is a long overdue discussion in this country. If her husband could be killed at a gas station, what are the odds that the killer would be a black man? I am a white woman who wears expensive clothes, jewelery, and drives a high end car. How likely is it that I could be killed at a gas station? Black thug culture is more dangerous than anything else going on in the U.S. these days.

The acid test for true racists is that they never can flip over and see the other side of the coin.

Well, Michelle, I don't know whether being half Black has anything to do with it, but its true that more Americans have died in some of our US cities than have died in Bagdad, this past year.
