My cousin, a white Police Officer responding to a robbery, was shot by a black man robbing a gas station.

Yes, the black man was eventually shot as the fellow officers returned fire.

So yes, I can attest that Obama's wife is correct in her assertions.

BTW, my cousin was near death and in critical condition for almost a month. He did eventually recover after many surgeries and then retire.

As for the African American who shot him, I don't remember if he survived.
I do know that he was not running for president that night.
I would also bet that at least one of his fellow officers was African American.
