It 's only matter of time and I think we are into some interesting times soon.
Between the mainstream media's ignorance and arrogance, and spiking the real LIbby trial keynotes (Russert filed false Affidavit), let us also recall the WAPO's front page article this week regarding the IG's intel report. The authors (Pincus for one, who is also involved in Plamegate) confirmed to all the collusion between the democrats and the WAPO by publishing Levin's talking points, attributing them to the IG, and then having to issue a correct afterwards. It was sad and funny at the same time...showing us the "investigative journalism" is a thing of the past, and that in its place they take, publish without review or edit, talking points received directly from democrats. We have long suspected that, but this fiasco by the WAPO, provided us proof certain of that collusion.
They all pay the expense of the AP so they all use the info supplied by the AP.
I e-mail Fox News all the time about this with no response.
Good analogy. I'm certain the new media is as despised by MSM members as IA is by rank and file police.
I don't see Obama's name
I was hoping someone would point out Obama's hypocrisy.
Obama pretends he is following in the footsteps of the Great Emancipator, but, in reality, Obama prefers the "compromise" route. (I wish I could think of a title for Obama that is an antonym for "emancipator." )
In 1861, Obama would have said, "If the South wants Fort Sumter, let them keep it. We don't want to get into a "dumb" civil war."
Obama is no modern day Moses who would go "way down to Baghdad-land" to free millions of Shi'ites.
To Obama's way of thinking Iraqis (especially Shi'ites) could just smile and submit to being slaughtered and raped and attacked by dogs.
Obama says, in effect, "Why get rid of a monstrous dictator who threatens his own people as well as the rest of the world?"
I think it should be apparent that Obama does not have ancestors who were enslaved, raped, and attacked by dogs. He appears to be totally insensitive to the plight of people whose lives are controlled by a monster like Saddam, Uday, or Qusay.
Go to hell RC....
I didn't even know there WAS a second spring. Heck, I didn't even know about the FIRST spring.
I shall pass your warning along to husband. Who is, as owner of the testicles around here, in charge of such minutiae.
Thanks.
It'll be interesting to see how his bosses handle this.
Meanwhile, my local radio station reported Levin's remarks as if they were the truth. Grrr.
You got that right. Here's an article and thread from just a couple of days ago.
Cronkite:Quest for media profits hurts
He blames their ommissions and errors not on incompetence or bias but on "Pressures by media companies to generate ever-greater profits" and cost cutting. He has problems with causality.
Oh I don't doubt that at all. I just fear they maybe some rough ones.
Because, Fox news daytime news producer is none-other-than the one producing news for FoxReport & Studio-B (Shepard Smith's producer).
I think many folks would be surprised just how lazy some journalists truly are.
"Squeal...I can't believe it's so big!"
"Oh, I just want to touch it!"
Meanwhile the Woody Harrelson lookalike leers over the cubicle wall, licking his lips.
UGH!
Sorry about the rant, but I HATE THAT AD!!
That is very interesting. Shep has been banned from my tv for over a year now.
At least the police understand that in some cases IA is needed. The MSM will NEVER think the same about the new media.
Knowing FOX, if they sent somebody to pick him up, there would be one driver to make right turns, and a talkative liberal to make the left turns.
I won't watch Shep, either.
###### NYTimes Chief Iraq Reporter Comes Out Clean With Truth - 'American Troops Were Greeted as Liberators', Shocking Russert! On U.S. Military -> "They are Magnificent. They are Extremely Brave, that goes without saying. They make an Enormous Effort to Perform a Civic as well as Military Duty in Iraq. They are People of Honor, and they are People of whom America Can be Proud. I Hope that that finds its way into the columns of the NYTimes." And then this: War in Iraq much more frightening to watch on television than I find it when I'm there! (Foot Note: NYTimes just transferred him to it's London Bureau from Iraq.):-(
###### NBC & it's "military analyst" Arkin -> Retired Col. Ken Allard (NBC's military analyst) comes out against Arkin & NBC.
###### ABC's Terry Moran (!) - "Does John Edwards Condone Hate Speech? If a Republican candidate teamed up with a right-wing blogger who spewed this kind of venom, how would people react?"
###### Harry Reid to fight Associated Press - with Britney Spears' lawyer about his Las Vegas land deal scandal.
###### Media, Not Sex is - Top Worry for Parents .
###### MSNBC's Chris Matthews exposed talking "Democratic talking points". And that 's continuing even now.
###### A Bundling Bumble - @ Washington Post. Yeah, that Washington Post!
###### Help Send the Media to Rehab.
###### Columbus Dispatch offering buyouts - which is nothing but firing honorably.
###### Fox News Pentagon Correspondent Mike Emanuel is going to WH to work with Bret Baier (why Wendell Goler NEVER gets transfer). Jennifer Griffin may get Pentagon reportage. Fox News' Conservative Alternative to SNL "The Half Hour News Hour" might premiere on Saturday, Feb. 18. Barack Hussein Obama will be on "60 Minutes" tonight.Kathleen Kennedy is out from CNN. Following Bill Sammon, Rowan Scarborough leaves Washington Times to join Washington Examiner as national security correspondent. Bill Frist blogs @ FoxNews.com. ABC's Diane Sawyer will interview Iranian terrorist president Ahmadinejad about his Ipod songs tomorrow on Good Morning America (as she did last week with Syrian terrorist president Assad).
Notice Hoyer says the House Resolution vote will be Friday. What a chicken-s move....hoping the story dies by Monday. Good luck with that....we'll be all over it.
