Whenever I see the panel discussion on Special Report or FNS, Kristol always seems to get stuck next to Juan. Watch how Bill is always fidgeting with something, a pen, his hands...anything to keep him occupied and supress the urge to strangle Juan.

Lott is denying that Bush is trying to make a case for invading Iran...

Lott explaining to Bob that talking to Iran is a little more subtle than just what the dems say they should do.

Being asked about the debate about debating Iraq...

Lott "That is inside baseball....we want a debate, not a mandate".

Saying he wants a debate...but Bob is saying all newspapers said that Rep. cuts off debate..and Lott has to explain to Bob that the newspapers were WRONG..LOL

Saying how little has gotten accomplished in Senate ..hehe

He is saying Americans want them to say that the will support the troops with funds, regardless if they like the way the war is going.


Saying Dodd is honest...because he DOES want to say he wants to debate cutting off funding.

I'm probably more the Sir Sagramore type (and probably the Sagramore from the Twain/Bing Crosby Connecticut Yankee story), or even one of the Knights Templar, instead of a Knight of the Round Table. After all, the Templars took refuge in Scotland, where my clan is from, so it's even possible I'm descended from one of them. (oh, and I don't buy the revisionism of the Da Vinci Code types that the Templars were villains)

Oh..dear, Trent being asked why he is trying to "save the White Houses bacon...when they didn't save your bacon in keeping you as Majority leader".

Trent took the high road.

Bob asking him about Warner saying he will add his resolution to any/all legislation.

Lott says that Warner can do whatever he wants..as long as they also get a chance to give a resolution also.

Lott read from the Baker-Hamilton report the part that said that THEY suggested a surge of troops to get Baghdad under control.

What is with the Washington times? I am beginning to think that their Owner has everything to do with these moves because the rest of the DC (diaper clad)DBM always condemns The Washington Times because it is owned by Moonies, and therefore has no credibility (in their minds), and never will. They are a much better paper than The Post or any of the others in the DC DBM, but the DC DBM keeps throwing up it's ownership any time they report blockbuster stories that they will not touch because those stories condemns the DNC/Rats or at least challenge them on competency and lack of bipartisanship.

Thanks for that great reporting. Could it be that some, even if they have no love lost for the Administration, are beginning to wake up to the fact of the bloodbath that will ensue if we are not successful in Iraq? There aren't going to be any impenetrable bubbles built around their family members if another big hit comes.
