It's sort of like how the communists didn't have a problem with the Nazis until after they invaded the USSR.

When you look at the stories that are being reported on the most, you realize that the DBM has finally become what it criticized the most, Tabloid Journalism. They spent years knocking the National Enquirer, and all the real tabloids, but most of us began trusting the Honesty of the Tabloids at least 70 percent more than the DBM. They were lousy at Honest Journalism, and they are just as lousy at Tabloid Journalism.

True. Anything less than telling him how great he is really ticks him off.

"I will be interted to learn if Kurtz brings up the false affidavit point (don't count on it). Please let me know."

This is laughable. Howie's concern is that journalists are appearing to the public as being too cozy and close to .....

wait for it....

The Bush Administration!

What about the poor race horse who died?

The Parade section of the local paper had a blip about that today. They said Barbado was doing quite well! I laughed out loud at that.

Thanks, Rod. Even Imus won't buy his coming to the court with crutches. Imus said that he fell down in November and there is no way he need crutches now, other thn to buy sympathy of jurors. He said this on his show.

LOL. I see you picked up on that as well.

Gwenn Ifill says that they are all worried that their bad handwriting will get them called into court, poor things.

MSM should be fearful of being exposed for the outright lies they print. Broders arrogance is astounding.

You wouldn't know it from the DBM. I listened to Toobin, Gergin, and Cooper emote over how brilliant Fitzgerald is the other night....am still nauseous.

No, it isn't, which is why they are so furiously reporting it incorrectly. You have to read Clarice Feldman and Andy McCarthy to understand it at all. I have to say that Firedoglake, which is way to the left, has been doing some accurate coverage as will, so kudos to her.

Broadband is great I virtually never turn my connection off now and recently I got a free upgrade on speed and a reduction in cost for both TV/telephone and broadband service.

I think they were concerned I was about to take my business elsewhere as I started the conversation I have been looking at options and prices. I was meaning their options and prices but the way I worded it one could take it either way. Sometimes it is worth making a phone call - saved me about 25.00 dollars a month with a faster broadband speed.

While so much attention is being given to Presidential candidates this soon in the cycle, I wish to submit this Very sobering list of Senators who are up for re-election in 2008. It is the reverse of the situation that brought us to the high of 55 Republicans a few years ago.

Not very many of the Republicans on this list are even worth fighting for, and may lose to Dems.

I post this in case anyone wants to start reassessing their retirement portfolios if we return to Dem supremacy.

Senators of the 110th Congress
up for election in 2008

Republicans (21)

Alexander, Lamar- (R - TN)
Allard, Wayne- (R - CO)
Chambliss, Saxby- (R - GA)

Cornyn, John- (R - TX)
Craig, Larry E.- (R - ID)
Dole, Elizabeth- (R - NC
Domenici, Pete V.- (R - NM)
Enzi, Michael B.- (R - WY)
Graham, Lindsey- (R - SC)
Hagel, Chuck- (R - NE)
Inhofe, James M.- (R - OK)
McConnell, Mitch- (R - KY)
Roberts, Pat- (R - KS)
Sessions, Jeff- (R - AL)
Smith, Gordon H.- (R - OR)
Stevens, Ted- (R - AK)
Sununu, John E.- (R - NH)
Warner, John- (R - VA)
