(CNSNews.com) - Weeks after accusing President Bush of "shameful" behavior over the imprisonment of two Border Patrol agents who shot an unarmed suspected drug smuggler along the U.S.-Mexico border, a federal lawmaker turned up the heat further Wednesday, suggesting the president should be impeached if either of the two men is murdered in prison.

ah, thanks.
I was a little taken back when I read it, too.... it seems it was a lot of small checks (vs some large dollar checks many had written) and he was being pretty agressive about explaining what happened.
>>But the argument goes a lot farther back in the country's history. I always find it particularly amusing. Because, ignorant of it or not, without immigration, none of you would be here to make any argument at all.<<
What part of "illegal" don't you understand?
Its the damn water inside the beltway.
Bitch slapped him, way to go. :)
Why I don't buy the arguement re. a border patrol agent's murder, Bush shoulb be impeached for not upholding the oath of office.
Class warfare IS Marxists and if you don't want a spade called a spade, don't cover yourself in muck. It really IS as simple as that. :-)
That is well noted and does not stray far from my thoughts these days. I do not believe Weldon is gone by happenstance. He was the strongest voice re Able Danger. The Pentagon is the culpable party in that case, you realize, long before the Clinton administration came in to play, as Lt Col Anthony Shaffer is painfully aware.
Anyway, don't call yourself a kook unless you behave like one. We have a good case re the agents, border security and the illegal invasion. We don't need public figures speculating re impeachment, imo; that could do a disservice to the cause.
He will have doulbed the BP by 2008, and has funded the first 350 miles of new fence. He has sent NG troops to help while building up the BP. He has funded increased detention facilities, and we now have ICE which we did not before. You are delusional for blaming Bush for the 40 year in the making border problem. I lived in Phoenix for years in the 1980s and it was a damn problem then too. I lived next door to ahouse full of illegals and they never were bothered by authorities. Half the staff at my job was illegals. THis is not new, or exclusively the fault of GWB
A lot of names on the thread tonight have not been following the nitti-gritti of this story. It's very complicated.
He should have a 100% backing from Republicans.
I am suggesting that they started to go south when Republicans became angry over enabling policies towards crimaliens. I support the President but he needs to have a backbone on border problems. That could only increase his popularity which I am for.
But I've been around the system to know how high profile cases are handled.
You are truly naive.
One word from Bush and this would have gone away.
>>What a whitey culture??<<
I just wanted the nice folks at Free Republic to take another gander at what a poster named KevinDavis wrote about the opponents of open borders. Here it is, in all its ugliness, desperation, and utter stupidity.
Laugh, or cry, at this display of childish hysteria.
I'm a Hunter fan. I would like to see them pardoned or a minimum of a reduces sentence. 11 Years is way too extreme for the crime they committed. What I'm not going to do is Blame Bush for the whole fiasco, which most here seem to have done, erroneously, I will add.
It's one thing to double it on paper and another to actually fund and hire the agents. Just as they also gave out community grants to train police officers to work locally to identify illegals and work with ICE, yet when the police apply for the training grants they are met with due silence... both our local police department as well as Maricopa County have been very vocal about this.
I listened to J&K today. That clip on impeachment was of Rohrabacher, not Hunter.
Duncan Hunter is the one calling for Bureau of Prisons Director Harley Lappin to be fired.
Where do you get MARXIST from my comments? Very bizzare thinking you've got there!
