(CNSNews.com) - Weeks after accusing President Bush of "shameful" behavior over the imprisonment of two Border Patrol agents who shot an unarmed suspected drug smuggler along the U.S.-Mexico border, a federal lawmaker turned up the heat further Wednesday, suggesting the president should be impeached if either of the two men is murdered in prison.

Things have changed since then.

What some DC bureaucrat did or did not lie about as to what paperwork they had has no bearing on what happened at trial. The trial took place in the locality with jurisdiction, not in DC. The defendants had benefit of defense counsel and a trial by jury. They were found guilty. They now have access to the appeals courts.

More lies. Read the legislation yourself. It did not grant blanket amnesty to all illegals in the country with "no questions asked". One the major problems with '86 Act was there was massive fraud by the illegals with the regards to the documents they provided. The Feds just let it slide. JD Hayworth wrote about actual examples in his book.

Yeah their districts are close together....oh yeah, it's my district! Down here people may have voted for Cunningham but a lot didn't like him as a person. Around town he was very arrogant. Hunter is not like that. And no, I don't think he would "cover" for good ol' Duke.

So, have you managed to get this sent to the Smoky Back Room yet? Nope, keep trying, you're apparently not offensive and caustic enough yet, but I have great faith in you. You'll get the desired reaction soon enough, so you can go run to the mods and cry...

And if false evidence or information was entered into the trial...

I don't understand Gonzales and Bush.

There's a perspective from which their actions make sense, but I'm not sure I have the stomach to believe it.

Do not worry about me, I have my share of wealth, obtained through effort, opportunity and thrift, and certainly no Marxist am I.

You are confusing my fervent desire to pass on an honorable, just, republic to my children, with: envy of others. I do not envy thieves and liars. I honor achievement, honor, and faithful observance of Constitutional bounds and official oaths. Quite consistent with the code of FR participants, I would hope.

Just because my observations yield the conclusion that we have an overwhelming pack of thugs, liars, and crooks in Washington who disdain law and worship money and power above all things is no reason to deign me a Marxist. Indeed lots of honest, conservative people have concluded the same. We need to formulate a plan to do something about this sad state of affairs. More than just being utterly disgusted! I expect that there are plenty of like minded people visiting this site.

I may not call for Bush's impeachment but it is criminal how he has touted how his admin. has our nation's security at the top of their list but do nothing about one of the biggest security risks we face.

American culture has been in the process of being systematically debased for the past 40 years.

"Culture" deals with the arts, in all forms. It and a common language is the basis of national coherence. America has been Balkanized and fractured, with sublimation of past heritage. This was not always so, but it is now.

Tell me what the current ( within the past ten years ) glories of the theatre, ballet, music, art, books, movies, T.V. and POP CULTURE have been, as opposed to the vast flowering of these things in the previous century; excluding those things that aren't applicable.

An historical factoid for ya......in the 1920s, a delegation was sent to Europe, to prove to Europeans that America actually HAD a worthy culture.

I called it what it IS called! And not every African Muslin engages in the same type of female circumcision, BTW. It is NOT actually an Islamic thing, as not all Muslims engage in the practice.

Don't you have Hunter mixed up with Rorabacher? You don't seem very informed for somebody who has no problem trashing CA Congressmen and trying to paint them all as corrupt Republicans. In fact, you sound a lot like a Democrat.

And you sound like a knee-jerk, thoughtless fool.

They talked about this matter on both the John & Ken show and Al Rantel show, and on both shows they said Hunter made the threat. As for "trashing California congressmen," I live in the Los Angeles metro area. As a voter in this state, I have a right to question the motives of California congressmen.

I have not tried "to paint them all as corrupt Republicans." I have posted about exactly two: Hunter and Cunningham. Cunningham really threw all of us Republicans in this state for a loop when his crimes were revealed. Before that, Duke Cunningham was always seen as one of the good guys; one of the reliable conservative Republicans in Congress. Hunter has exactly the same reputation Cunningham once enjoyed, but Hunter has been behaving totally out of character in recent months -- at least as we've known his character to be throughout his career in Congress.

If Rorabacher has joined in on this stupidity, then as a California voter I will have come to the conclusion that people I once had considerable respect for are throwing away their careers by playing to the worst aspects of the Republican/conservative fringe.

In any case, thank you for calling Rorabacher's involvement in this to my attention, because I'll call his office tomorrow also.

He is under investigation and has been long before he ever threw his hat in the ring.

I didn't know he is under investigation.

>>Well I guess the whine and moaners are the seminars posters<<

Your intimidation tactics and cheap smears won't work here. Bigger and better Bushbots than you have tried to shout down other posters, and their numbers are dwindling down to nothing.

The truth is the truth, whether you like it or not.

No, your MARXIST tripe is far from "normal"; especially amongst a group of CONSERVATIVES.

What next, a sounding applause for "THE PROTOCOLS OF THE ELDERS OF ZION"?

When a nation of free peoples are threatened by "invasion", and make no mistake-unknown persons, illegals crossing the borders, is a defacto "invasion", it is incumbent on the citizenry to defend its homeland. It is very clear the government is unable, unwilling or incapable of securing the borders. In light of world events, such inability is borderline treason. This nation, and her people, must be safe and secure from unknowns who walk among us.

Or, as signed by fifty-five men way back in 1776:

...Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.
