Hee-hee! I didn't wanna insult those who were unfortunate enough to have those tunes as their memories of growing up! :D
Good evening to you LUV. I've been quite busy lately with work. That plus my laptop suffered a nasty bug for a while (spyware). I was afraid to keep it on for very long as pop ups kept telling me the laptop was infected by a number of different viruses. Finally got it fixed, but now I'm needing to establish a different internet service. I don't have what I was using before, and my son's computer is still on dial-up. We're looking into getting DSL or something like that.
Robert does fully understand our need for contact with him. That wasn't the problem. He was able to send emails, but his area of operations had no phone access. He was finally able to make the phone call home using a fellow soldier's computer (not sure how that works). It drove us crazy as there was about a five second delay for the sound to come through.
Thank you for the prayers. They are greatly appreciated and needed.
Coldfront comes through later this week, guess whos on the flightline next week Brrr LoL
I had to run the AC yesterday and today
I am happy to hear that you had some fun.:)
Me? I didn't get it.
Alot of silly back then. The 80's were kinda hard on me musically. I tried hard though.....:)
Ok....done with the laundry & off to bed! Sweet dreams when moonbeams find you. *Hugs*
Thanks! Mommy was kind of hovering just in case of anything happening. She had a hard time relinquishing her for very long at a time. That will change! LOL!
?

?
I made it home, Mrs.N...I failed the test. d:o)
LOl I have never really been a pop music fan, not even when I was in high school or college. I have always loved Puccini and Schumann and Bach and Beethoven and Mozart and Smetana. Those guys and their music, I know.
My grandmother and I used to spend every Sat afternoon in the parlor with a cup of tea listening to the Met. She had a wonderful book of opera stories for children, which I now have. I can definitely thank my grandmother for my love of Puccini and opera.
Bach wrote some of the most challenging pieces I had to play when I studied organ.
My parents seldom listened to anything but classical. My father was a classical guitarist and an organist.
Anyone who read my posts on the Best Cheating Song thead the other day would already be aware I am a late 19th century musical moron. I thought the singer in Me and Mrs Jones was Mr. Jones just being romantic with the Mrs. lol
Wrong, Al Baby. There was no music in the 80's.
No...no....you can't go without a ((((hug))))
I am sorry I was here so late tonight!
Sweet dreams, Connie!
Rest well Kiddo
Our buddy is probably in dreamland by now.
You forget that she is 2 hours ahead of you and that she gets up early.;)
You forgot Dvorjak
Good evening Kathy. I hope you are well. Robert was able to phone home this past Sunday. It was sooooo good to hear his voice finally (after around a month and a half of no phone calls). He's doing fine, but things over there have been very rough the past couple of months.
Good night and sleep tight, AZ. ((HUGS))
